I believe the CEO does recruit players. Remember when he met with The Jet just to check on his welfare? He had a contract 2 days later. He recruited Cleary and Madge.

Maybe a better way to phrase it is Pascoe solely responsible for recruiting the players and coaches ?

Cleary and Madge were pretty good choices at that point in time. Cleary stuffed the cap and was clearly a disaster. I think sacking Madge with hindsight was the wrong decision but Madge failed as well. These are not terrible decisions.

Maybe a better question is why did Cleary and Madge both fail ?

I'm trying to understand what the real issue is. We are a dud team. It's easy to state management but that is a weak response.

I work in project management. There is an approach called the 3 whys ? You keep asking why until you get to the core problem. That is what I'm trying to find out.

I don't understand how a private conversation can get out unless one of the two involved told someone else.

It sounds to me like Noddy should be back coaching the woman's team.

I dont like pointing fingers, but I’ll say this, how long have they each been in the WT first grade team as player or coach. Doueihi I cant remember starting any dramas in his time and Noddy is into his 3 week only. I don’t know.

I was really angry (I'm trying not to swear) when I heard what he said but I've calmed down and I now think that conversation getting into the media was completely unprofessional. I think Noddy has to take the blame but if it wasn't him then it's someone close to the team. You can't tell me Pascoe or the board were involved in that conversation. Sheens name was mentioned and that dude has been across all the drama lately.

Doueihi though should be playing 6. Brooks hasn't worked and clearly he is on his way out. It's not worth persisting with Brooks and we should be playing Brooks where it suits us longer term. Longer term Brooks is gone.

I'm not convinced he is a top tier 6 but it's worth a shot. I heard Cronk and Alexander talking prior to the Warriors game and they both said his best spot is 6.

As a club we have to try him and Hastings in the halves.

The most frustrating thing about being a Wests Tigers supporter is knowing it isn't the coach, it isn't the team (per se) it's the club management itself. WTF seems to be their motto, their defining direction and so WTF is what we get year after year

I view it from a slightly different lens. Apparently Brett Kenny played centre a lot. Let's face it, Kenny was one of the great 6s. Doueihi isn't in the same hemisphere as far as talent onfield goes with Kenny.

Why did our salary cap get so off course
Why did we miss signing out on key players
why did wests have 15 home grounds

What if he signed with Wests cause it was promised he would play 6? Center money vs Halves money is very different.
