Our coach will also feature in the egg and spoon race. They’ll be plenty of players as some still can’t score, im not talking about our ROOKIES I’m talking about our other rookies. Bring your cameras, take pictures and lots more.

I hear Pascoe is bringing in a new range of hats for the event, they are calling them the " Boardroom Hat".It is a long tall hat with the letter D prominent in the middle. For some odd reason the club sponsor refuses to put their logo on it.

The whole board are due for another nudie run. They’re practicing long and hard.

I think the majority of the posters have covered the reasons ad nauseum. However, at the risk of being a touch glib I would maybe add another reason that hasn't been touched on as much but I think is reasonably relevant. We have just been extraordinarily unlucky. Here are some reasons why:
1. We are a team burdened by extensive media spotlight. So while this is good to the extent that it means people care about the club it also means that journalists publish a number of stories on us (many of which are either negative or built to gain a large amount of attention). This means that most of the time when potential free agents have discussions with us- the main image they have of the club is one built upon narratives generated by the likes of Hooper and Kenty/Buzz.
2. By 2015/16 our 4 year rebuild (a normal amount of time for most clubs to rebuild) should have been completed, built on the backbones of 4 of the best juniors our club has ever had. However, this was squandered by the fact that the coach at the time was not only way out of his depth but locked in a one-way power struggle with Robbie Farah. The negative fallout to this led to the best 2 players in our rebuild taking their talents elsewhere.
3. Ivan Cleary. Enough said really. Not only did this man promise great things for the club ('on the bus') but screwed up our cap by signing some of the worst free agents available in the draft class. These decisions we still have to live with now. It is incredibly unlucky that we gave a coach so much authority and respect (but that coach quite literally plotted against us to reunite with his son).
4. Pascoe's suspension was ridiculous in the sense that many other clubs operate in the exact same way- however, there were some small minutiae that he missed out on. That cost us valuable cap space and our CEO.

There's various other things like overzealous refereeing and the fact that Teddy had jaw broken in a season we were well and truly on track for finals/a tied game forcing us out of the 8 etc.

Ultimately, I do think it is relevant to note some of the extra issues we have had to deal with. Not that it matters but I think that things will eventually turn themselves around and I will continue to believe that for as long as I'm alive to support this great club.
