Record Membership milestone (20,906 in 2022)

Wests Tigers are celebrating a major membership milestone ahead of Sunday’s Round 19 match against the North Queensland Cowboys.

The club has roared past its previous peak to set a new club record with 20,906 members now on board. The previous record was achieved in August 2019.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says breaking the record is an achievement that the club and its members should be very proud of.

"Our coaching structure for next year and beyond has been well received, our Harvey Norman Women’s team has just won the Grand Final, and we are about to move into our new Centre of Excellence.”

We hit the 20,000-membership mark earlier in the season and now we have surpassed our previous best total. Our aim is to convert all Wests Tigers fans into Wests Tigers members.”

"This achievement is not about wins or losses. It’s about our members feeling valued, and about our members being a part of our team.”

It’s terrific to see the numbers continue to rise, and I want to thank our members for helping us achieve this milestone.”

Our staff are also to be congratulated for delivering the unique benefits that membership provides.”

We will continue to work hard to make further improvements where we can, and I look forward to seeing our numbers continue to grow.”

"Our members are the heart and soul of this club, and we do our best to ensure they feel very proud to be a part of the Wests Tigers family.”
"There are a lot of good news stories around the club right now and I think our membership growth reflects that."
Wests Tigers CEO, Justin Pascoe

What a deadset f-wit!!

Imagine if we could win more than 3 in a season, let alone in a row!
I used to do that a lot but these days it's more a mare of losing 3 in a row.
The mare often starts with the SS Minnow scenes with Capitan Pascoe and Benji in a bucket hat. Thurston Lee the third is there too with Sheens as the professor. I won't gointo further detail on public forum.......... 🙂

I was bemused when our teams CEO mentioned it is not about Wins or Loss.....

If you want to grow your brand you want it to be successful and whilst we may be able to turn a profit it means little to members if the product you watch and care so much about is garbage.

We are a sleeping giant of the NRL with many supporters, this is demonstrated by shows such as NRL360 always having a Tigers rumour or sledge ( some are of our own doing ) the support base is huge and gets a bite each time.

I personally believe it is about wins as I appreciate 15 teams will not win this years premiership and we know we are one of them already however other sides can turn it around quicker and we have shown glimpses of efforts that would win a fair few games with better coaching or decision making.

I will take more Wins than losses Mr Pascoe as I have been a member for 15 ongoing years. I love my team more than being valued by you and want to see success.
I think we’ve only gone 3 seasons where we won more games than we lost.

If you had a chance with both girls, who would you choose Ginger or Maryanne? Personally I'd go Maryanne. If you'd choose Lovey, you need to have a good hard look at yourself.

It’s true memberships have increased by 167 since 2019, up from 20739, possibly due to the inclusion of a women’s team?
Is it a massive deal in reality?
I guess I’m not fully grasping the enormity of this achievement?
I can recall last year when Lee Hagipantelis described our poor finish to the season, as disappointing, and not good enough to the 400,000 fans supporters and members who are our stakeholders. There will be a review he said, and there was, resulting in sackings and attempted sackings and even poorer results.
Now that we’re running last we’re probably collectively thinking 13th was better and perhaps we shouldn’t have had the review 🤣
My question is, if there are 400,000 fans, supporters and members, how is it that only 5.2% of those are members?

Are the people that count membership numbers the same ones that counted 11,646 at CommBank last Sunday? Must have counted them going in and also when they left. Of our 20,906 members how many are aged 30+ and identify as canines or felines?
They must be the same counters that record 11,646 every time the Newtown Jets play at Henson Park 🤣

I wonder if the recent news on future coaches has had anything to do with the increase in numbers, otherwise I’m not sure how this happens, not being smart but how does a football club entice people to become members when they are performing so bad on the field. Which you would have to say is the key performance measurement of a football club.

Maryanne floated my boat. Never liked the 'glamorous' types.

Ankle break for the easy two
I like your avatars PJ 👍
I reckon some on here may be offended by them, as I was a little while ago, being a Christian [but not currently practicing].
But after reading your posts over the last couple of months I'm sure your not meaning to offend anyone by using them as Your'e a more fair dinkum and decent up front bloke than a couple of others on here.
I noticed a really cool sticker on the back window of a car recently saying.... Jesus Saves.
And it depicted Jesus as a soccer goal keeper with flowing robes diving to save a ball in front of His goal 🙂.
I had a big smile on my face when I saw it as I reckon He would have a sense of humour and wouldn't be offended.
Enjoy the rest of the day PJ but... hopefully.... we'll enjoy tomorrow even more eh! 😀
