I am disgusted with what I am reading on here , christians have to be inclusive, but all those other don’t . So someone says u have to follow a rule that u don’t agree with , if u can’t see this is all about changing everyone’s rights in the NEW WOKE world , u got ur head stuck in the sand . And just to say I don’t judge any one on there believes , but don’t tell me I have to support all there crap .

You don’t have to?

Don’t watch the game, don’t buy the jersey. You can even boo them if you want. In fact you could even come on a open forum and tell people you hate the concept.

AFLW player Janeen Zeika refused to play in her gay pride jersey for GWS due to religious beliefs
if they want to not play in the jersey they can I guess

It’s a strange move by Manly that is likely to harm their finals push.
Id be pretty dirty if I was a member over there.
Lol I’ve got a mate who’s a passionate Manly supporter. He’s happy for them to miss the finals over this.

Politics and sport dont mix well.

Surely the manly heirachy knew this could happen? Maybe they wanted it to happen?

What lol?

What a stupid comment.

If a heterosexual man has sex with women AND a child, he’s a pedophile.

If a homosexual man sex with men, and a child, he’s a pedophile.

If a non binary, A sexual person who identifys as a Mongolian goat has sex with a child, they are a pedophile.

Can you work out the common denominator? Hint* it’s having sex with children ya goof.
Respectfully, you may have missed the point and context.

There was a comment here that the players should forfeit their match fee and the proceeds should go to survivors of abuse at the hands of the church.

Why would it go there? because they are Christian? What did the players have to do with that abuse? It's just not a balanced view to go after them on the grounds of the abuse by the Catholic church. I'm confident these players aren't even Catholic.

Just because they are Christian (or any other religion), it doesn't make them pedophiles or abusers. Which is the point I was making in relation to the comment....if you are going to cast that aspersion on players, then why stop there? Let's look at other things pedophiles do...they breathe, drink water, eat, sleep....some are homosexuals, some are not.

Which is the point you are making also....I think you'll find we agree on this, even if we don't agree to keep politics, religion and sexuality out of sport.

What's the big deal. It doesn't have writing on the jersey that says Gays are Great or something like that, it's a flaming rainbow 🌈 pattern isn't it.
IMO, religion is often wrongly portrayed by symbols and tokens and not what it should be, love, compassion and charity.
Having a rainbow on a jersey isn't hurting anyone, how can you possibly say the symbol is encroaching on someone's beliefs.
I understand that Manly should have consulted the players first but I still think it's way over the top.
Let's talk and play footy.

I don’t hate anyone … well maybe one person . I’m just saying the flack it cops is pretty justified . Not joe blo who believes it , for the most part he’s just doing his thing , but the people at the top who manipulate and exploit the trust and love of the people beneath them is pretty rampant in just about any Christian based religion .
It’s pretty disgusting . And it’s good people for the most part are waking up from the 1800 odd year odd spell society has been in .
We get it mate. You don't like religion.

You don't have to preach it to everyone.

All the Christians on the forum aren't trying to preach to you about why you're wrong.

I am just trying to say keep politics, religion and sexuality out of sport. I don't think that's very controversial.

I think I get what you are saying but can’t agree. The same religion that openly persecutes certain lifestyles because they deem them deviant, also has a long history in covering up some of the most actual deviant behaviors you can imagine.

Not sure I agree on the match payment thing but can understand the logic and I’d guess the person posted it a bit tongue in cheek to highlight the hypocrisy of people willing to judge a persons lifestyle choices while still willing to openly go against a , and let’s be serious a tokenism at best gesture that promotes inclusivity. Anyways go tiges.
