Disappointed we didn't go harder for Pele. Andrew Davey is average. Topine and Doorey are 2 that I would be looking at and must be a chance of moving elsewhere from the doggies with their pack being stacked.

Not too worried about missing out on either. Not sure they would have improved our roster q great deal.

If you play out his career 100 times how many turn out the way it has ? Outside of injury , this has to have been his absolute floor as to what we all expected .

If you know NFL , he’s like our version of Derek Carr. All the talent in the world , but he went to the Texans and they basically got him smashed for 7 years , ram him into the ground and got rid of him . Never once did he play with a team that wasn’t bottom 4 in the league.
That’s not all to say brooks doesn’t hold his own culpability, because he definitely does , but yea , i think he’s a great footy player . Everyone who hates on him , hates in him because they had expectations they put on him . So because of those unrealistic expectations it became a self full filling prophecy when it all didn’t come true .

Brooks IS a big part of the problem...as we saw last nite where an average kid looked pretty good
Im personally so over the Brooks excuses for a ridicul;ously highly paid player that just never delivers

"Football anxiety"? ow I've heard it all from you Brooks fanboys. You lot will truly blame anyone and anything other than Brooks himself and it is truly one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. That's the sort of stuff you see from hormonal teenage girls about boy bands.

Instead of admitting you backed the wrong horse, you tell lies and blame others for NINE YEARS. He is paid around 1 MILLION DOLLARS and you are talking about "football anxiety"? I don't know how you typed that out with a straight face.

Anyone with a working pair of eyes and some honesty can see that Brooks has a below average kicking game, can't read defences, can't organise the team and he sure as shit isn't a leader. His only good traits are his speed and his defense which is becoming overrated by his nuthuggers on here. Madden has a much better kicking game, showed a similar if not better passing game.

Brooks has played 189 first grade games over 9 years and is being shown up by a kid who has played 9 games. If you can't see a problem with that, then you're an idiot.

I like brooks and his defence and yes he doesn't have the best kicking game .the biggest disappointment for me is that he has played alot of games with that experience he should by now be able to close out games that we should have won .he has had plenty of chances .it will be sad to see him go but it will be better for himself and the club

Oh man , do you people read what I wrote ? Or do you just jump at whatever thing triggers you ! I said Maddens attacking kicks are infinitely better ! I said “it’s not even close” I said brooks general field kicking is better .
And if you don’t agree I don’t care . He gets hang time , and generally gets the ball between the 5-20 allowing the defence to get down there.
You guys just see things with so much red when someone gives a nuanced opinion . Your whole existence on here is “BROOKs BAD! BROOKS WHOLE PROBLEM! And I say that’s bullshit . And scapegoating to the max .

I also say brooks needs to go the team needs to move on for his benefit and the tigers

Agree 💯. He’s a good footy player . He’s better than madden . But he’s not what we need anymore . And I find that extremely disappointing . And so should everyone else who isn’t a piece of shit . He’s not a bad bloke , loves the club , puts in every week , but he’s never made that all turn to success . But I wish him all the best .
