**Live game thread** us vs the Knights r21

Our forward pack very poor .In the 1st half it was alarming how Newcastle was going up field 80 m on every set whereas we struggled to get over halfway . If Newcastle ball handling wasnt so bad we would have been down by 30 at half time . Why Kenny playing in 1st half he was hopeless if he was playing busted WHY? We lost to a bottom team who didn't play well
That's a big worry
 
Naden was full of energy and effort, AJ the only one who looked dangerous having to come up with plays on their own. Thought Musgrove and Freebairn were good. Felt Joffa had too many touches at the wrong times in sets.

His defense is puss. I view him as a running 6.

He has been so poor since coming back though. He had a great second half last week. He ran it hard today and put up some good bombs but he didn't do enough.

Kenny has been on one leg most of the season. We let our best replacement go to Melbourne. Would like to understand what The club are trying to achieve by basically tanking.

You won't see the best from Doueihi for another year. He's got homework in the off season on ball playing and defence.
 
Fought their way back into the game then the old stage fright kicked in.

Yeah I agree he’s a running 6 or centre with a good bomb
Needs to do more at 6 or punt him

I agree. He is getting paid good dollars. He needs time and he has a lot of positives but his defense is just so poor. Teams are just running it at him. He hits hard at times and completely misses tackles at other times.
