I reckon AD is a running 6. He gets more involved in the halves and he has some fantastic bombs in his game.

I think the position and style we've been playing suits him as well.

I also think Laurie would be good at 6 but he is probably better at fullback.

I see AD as a Mark Gasnier type centre, running and making breaks. I think if he got sharp service from a deceptive 5/8( Laurie) he might blossom even more.
Of course I’m thinking about silly things like line breaks, setting up supports, and scoring tries, not thunderous kicks, which can be effective, but as an adjunct to having a team capable of running the football.
And don’t forget the pace we are missing with Nofo and Oliver, when they come back as dynamic first graders .Lol.
While I’m on a role I think a fit Maumolo could play full back.
I’ll just pour myself another 3 finger scotch and wait for responses……

I'm with you - outside a quality 5/8 he could be devastating. Either that or he has to learn the skill sets that he is missing over the off season - not likely IMO.

What you state is true Earl; however, the rest of his kicking game is poor and his pass selection is dubious. He needs a lot of development before he is a quality 5/8.

I agree. He has a lot of work to do on his game. I still feel his best position is 6.

I think the first thing he has to do is work on his defense. He has some of the worst misses I've ever seen. It'd be hilarious if he wasn't playing for us.

Why not try something a little different instead of pigeon holing players in certain positions.we did it with Jacko and it looked ok.
Unless Noddy is under direction/duress from TS why wouldn’t he experiment ? What has he got to lose ?
And why wouldn’t TS encourage him to do that ?

I wouldn't put any rookies until the last 2 rounds where there are 2 very winnable games IF it is certain the drag queens and the raiders are out of finals contention. putting any new rookies into inform sharks and roosters not a good idea.

Seyfarth - useless in defence and attack, sell ASAP to the Roosters for not more than chicken nuggets, Dias to # 11
Tumeth to the bench

Why are we persisting with Dias on the bench when he has played 4 mins in the last two weeks? Surely Garner comes into the side and seyfarth drops to the bench, or give one of the young fellas a crack, I really don't understand this
