Re luke Garder being our best center..... I am crying.
Kudos to Brent Naden. He has really played well for us. Normally at Center he has done decent on the wing in a squad that, can't beat Chicken.

Of all the guys going next year he is the only one I think had a white hot crack for us. Garner has integrity.

I’m not sure about your definition of a white hot crack. He played well , on occasions, but probably too nice a guy sometimes.
Can’t remember him ever really terrorising an opposition with either his attack or defence.
Remember watching him let Latrell bully him an entire game.
Latrell kicked him in the head.
He did nothing.
Came out post game and said, "Latrell is my friend."
Thought it was very soft.

Still, isn't a good look letting ya old team mate bully you for 80 mins.
Too nice, was smiling as Latrell stepped on his hands and battered him.

They may have been but I think the feeling is he should have put Latrell on his a..e !
I’m just thinking what a Roach or Hemsley or Galloway would have done if he kicked them in the head !
It’s a tough game and by doing nothing and saying that he became a soft target !

Obviously Penrith see him as a potential replacement for Kikau but I’m not sure Luke will engender the same fear out wide.
Maybe Ivan can bring out that extra something in him but I have my doubts. Looking at a couple of our discards like Eisenhuth and Chee Kam I don’t think we lost anything by letting them go but I guess we haven’t found any better replacements, as yet.

Yes, I get it, just don’t think it applies in this case.
The only players I can see we have that are genuine first graders are Douihei, Brooks, Hastings, Ofahengaue, Twal, Utoikamanu, Maumalo, Nofoaluma, Pole, Naden, Laurie.
That’s 13 with Api and Papalli. We are really short even when at full strength not winning games with this squad.
We need 4 starters added to this team and tbh if we are being fair dinkum you would need 4 origin players to make much difference.

I'm just hoping for a few, not all cause that's impossible, intelligent players that know football tactics. Currently, but realistically for a long time, we haven't had anyone that can exploit a teams defence & take an advantage. Or someone with mental strength, that others can feed off.
Agree with the list, but there’s being a first grader and there’s being difference maker.
Only two or 3 in your list above I can put in that list.
If we are serious about the clean out we let anyone off contract go this year and anyone off contract next year go to market. Won’t see change until we turn over the roster. If they are keen to resign with the Tigers, sort it out next year.
18month contracts in advance can only be reserved for the stars in the game. Everyone else should just be patient and play for a new contract.

We need footy smarts. I think that is why Hastings looked so good for us.
We need more players but I think we can win a lot more games if we just started playing smart footy.
