NRL Finals 2022 - Spoilers

Unfortunately I have friends who follow Pawwa. ( don’t hold it against me)

I sent them a note tonight to let them know they have won as many 2022 finals games as my Wests Tigers😂😂😂😂😂.

Looks like straight sets next week. BA record in finals is 2 from 10. Pressure is a strange thing.

My thoughts:

1. Someone should have ragdolled May and asked him " wanna grab some more people? F*** u mate"
2. First half not to Finals standards, both teams were saving themselves for the last 20 it seems
3. Mitch Moses had a killer first 15 minutes until May got sin-binned. Then Mahoney hogged the ball and didn't give Moses a single good pass to attack May's end. I was honestly impressed by Mitchell's kicking and defensive game. In the second half, you could see that Brad Arthur had a chat with Mahoney to give him the ball when he wants. Still has a tendency to go missing until 5th tackle at time though.
4. Cleary... One of the best kicking displays I've seen for a while. It's freaky how in control he is.
5. Another quiet game for Papali'i standards, he's already starting to come down to WT levels tbh. Api was also pretty ineffective with his tackles.
6. The set play for To'o first try was pretty magical. It was actually the slow ball movement that got them. All the passes were loopy and going sideways. Haven't seen a set play like that before.

A bit of an anti-climax. Seems like it was safety first

If May is out injured, is there any possibility that the NRL can postpone the finals series until next year for him.
Think of the fans
Funny thing is that May is looking down the barrel of a suspension as well as his injury.

They are looking at 1 week if he takes the guilty plea or 2 weeks if he fights it and loses.

So what is the deal? Does he serve any suspension he gets during this finals series or does he serve it on top of the other 2 weeks he's got next season.

Unbelievable how the NRL just keep digging them selves a deeper hole all the time.
