I don’t like Parra, but I actually despise Ivan and would hate to see him win a double.
Penrith have clearly been the best team of the last 2/3 years, so if they lose, their dreams of being a historic legendary team go down the gurgler. Kinda like Manly of mid-90s.

Very very sore mate. I was telling Demps that it feels like when you get a leg kick to the neck...real dull sort of pain.. good thing it's all over, 15 major surgeries and that's it...no more thank god. That bicep tear during the floods set me back then this 🤕 Prob get hit by a bus now.

Penrith players all buy into what is required. They don't seem to have many weaknesses right across the park.
The only weakness I can see Siro is their slow start. I've got a feeling they will overcome a first half deficit to storm home in the second period.
I do like the Eels coach. I think some of the criticism of him is a bit over the top and I do feel your ill thought of Ivan.
Always thought Ivan didn't like Pascoe during those coach and ceo question time stuff on the wt site.

Yep. Hard to deny Penrith are very strong.
Eels fans don’t love Brad Arthur. He does make some weird selections.
They just have to do what they did against NQ in the second half: Heap defensive pressure, compete sets and try keep that maniac Waqa Blake away from the high balls. 🤣

Ricky Stuart went to 3 grand finals in a row with Roosters but he's never really spoken about that highly. Unless Ivan gets around 10 years of success at Penrith, I don't think he'll be spoken about like Bellamy, Bennett, Hasler and Robbo.

What he did with Wests Tigers will always be a stain on his career, like Bennett's failure at at Knights (at least by his standards)
 
I reside in in the Western Suburbs and have many friends that are Eels and Panthers fans including my 13th year old Daughter.

I can't wait for the Grand Final to see two quality teams go into battle.

Experience and defence wins big games so I am predicting Panthers by 8.
