Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No they don’t have an exit clause, they wanted one including in their latest contract but Manly wouldn’t allow it.
You can understand why Manly didn’t want a get out clause if Des left or got sacked.
Bugger .. well that puts a spanner in the works .. i better inform my one eyed Bald Eagle supporter of this .. as he told me they could walk if Des goes.

@CCTW anything on the Staines Peachy swap or are the rumors he isnt keen on the money?
Also curious about Nu Brown is he off to the dogs or hanging around, if Simpkin goes to the Panthers leaves us short in the DH.

With Des fired, and Lees article warning him against litigation, it will be interesting to see what happens now.
I can’t quite get my head around Seibold, seems to be well regarded but left the Broncs on a steep slippery side.
Any opinions on him ?

Siebold is very bright and knows the game...he runs plays / coaches like an NFL coach.

Which can be a great, innovative, thing...or a disaster.

He has his teams, much like in the NFL, run set plays to set positions on the field. I.e. his fullbacks and wingers can't simply regather kicks and run back. They need to run to spots he has determined the opp are weakest.

In theory, this is smart. In reality, it is incredibly restrictive and the Broncs players HATED not being able to play what they saw / had to run his plays.

Will be very interesting at Manly...will need absolutely everyone on the same page. I can't see a lot of them buying in.

Re the Turbo bros coming to us...zero chance. None.

Interesting feedback, that system will struggle in our game coz eyes up and unstructured does have a place, and always will.
I think we saw the result of Madge’s structures with no one really game to break the mould.
TS the total opposite so it will be interesting to see if our guys can do that.
As Munster says, sometimes I don’t even know what I’m doing, but will all love his spontaneity .
