Welsby is a class player, very tough and can play right across the backline. Has a very unorthodox playing style but he is very effective. I will let people watch and judge over the course of the WC. Maybe the only english back (aside from Dom Young) who could be successful in the NRL. The other player would be Jonny Lomax who I think would kill it in the NRL. Love watching him play.
My prediction is Gildart to go back to Wigan with either Smithes or Bateman to come over as a trade of sort to offset any transfer fee.

I'm liking what Welsby is doing against Samoa. Although you forgot Herbie Farnsworth when you mentioned English backs handling the NRL bloke is a weapon

Told you guys Welsby would come up trumps. Luai tried to rattle him but he's wasting his time with that kid. Thought Williams was MOM. Probably wanted to prove a few doubters wrong after all the garbage Ricky's FOXleague puppets said about him. Had Welsby as my #2. 1 try. At least three assists. Easy money. Not sure what lunatic figured Victor Radley was MOM. Even he thought the decision was ludicrous. As for Samoa - a few too many Big Time Charlies in that team.
