We ran last with the other spine. .

Laurie I'd prefer at 5/8 to be honest. Only because I don't hink he's a fullback.

Staines hasn't shown much to me to be honest.

Hastings is slow, doohey has his good moments but has some pretty big flaws + a history of knee injuries. If Brooks leaves, WT have more than enough money in the cap to splash a decent 3rd option rather than blooding a development half with far no experience.

correct, but to be fair, his brain worked at genius level when he kept Skandalis, O'Neil, Galea, acquired: Payten, LaFfranchi, Marshall, Prince, Richards, Hodgson, Tuiaki, Halatau, Whatuira, Heighington etc. and promoted Farah, Gibbs, Fulton, Lawrence etc.!

I'm fine with picking up Klemmer and Brooks going but the dollars matter. I dispute that this is a good deal for us. I think it's a bad trade.

Klemmer on 800k next year but then 500k for 2 years.

Brooks can go at full freight but I'd chuck some money in next season assuming we are below the cap.

I reckon we are overpaying Klemmer but at a better deal I'd love him here.

I don't care who goes out of Doueihi and Brooks or even if both of them go. I'm not sold on Hastings at 13 either.

This is better but I think Klemmer is as good or better than those players at 650k.

Hass at 800k would be perfect for us.

Is it any worse than having 7 Brooks and 6 Doueihi there ?

No one on here can seriously tell me that Brooks or Doueihi or Laurie are the answer for us at this point. Hastings to me is at this point the best of them but he is already slow and I'm concerned about how he will go over the longer term.

Except Haas wants a million - Fonua Blake is on a million...
Papalli was on more than Paulo at Raiders, And Paulo was on 750...
NAS would be on Unders - That's the Storm...
But literally everyone else mentioned is a north of 800 Player.

Brooks was the best half this year.

As unfortunate as that may be...
 
We are getting Klem for 23, don't think there's any doubt about that now. Seems like Newcastle are trying to play the "We won't release him unless you release Luke" card but there is no way Klem is staying at the Knights for next year. He is all but gone already.

He will only go if he wants to. The club cannot force him out, they have to pay him out.

Very different mate. Brooks also seems to want to go to newcastle. That's how contract law should work - can break if both parties agree, not agitating from 1 side.
