I’m happy to see some moves being made but let’s wait and see who come in to replace them before we start getting too excited. We’ve all been burnt too many times.

We have been releasing the right players for years. Jennings, Eisenhuth, McIntyre, Mbye, Reynolds, Marsters etc etc. our problem comes with getting better players in the door. We got 2. We need a lot more.

NRL rookie of the year and NRL halfback of the year. Also played in two semi final qualifiers at Leichhardt. Which we kooked. People forget we weren’t always horrendous during his tenure.

That’s the big question with Tom. How much are you prepared to pay a guy who averages something like 12 games a year?

IMO he may be the best player in the game when fit, but that’s no good to you when he’s in the grandstand half the time.
