We have lost experience but remember what the experiences they provided us wth this year were like. We'd be stupid to keep them just for the experience.
One is a journeyman who came back from England to play a back up role...
The other, some one whos had almost 10 years in grade with zero finals appearances.
Both about the same quality player in my books.

If the Brooks rumours are true, I hope we are talking to the management of this year's star U19 halfback Jonah Pezet, contracted to the Storm until end of 2023. Won't be getting a look in at the Storm any time soon. May be we can offer Storm a sweetener such as Jake Simpkin as the backup to Harry Grant.

Pezet is definitely where we should be looking, we have a good relationship with Melbourne too in that regard - he’s not taking Munster, Hughes’s or Papenhyzen’s position
We could offer Simpkins however they need outside backs, maybe they can keep Nofa or even take Ken
Tommy Talau, Junior Tupou, Asu Kepaou and Brent Naden, Stafford To’a are other alternatives too
This kid is a gun and should be targeted heavily

Yeah assuming Brooks is gone, he's the type of player Benji should be going to meet and letting him know he's our top priority.
These kinds of players would have looked up to Benji and we've shown that they're a priority it would be hard to turn down. Basically the way Melbourne lured Papenhuyzen away from us.

Peachy, Gildart to go and from POM Simpkin also might be out.
Klemmer & Leniu right chases
Munster, Moses & Brown also good choices
Staines is better than we have & upgrade squad wise on Peach.
Naden 3yr extension is probably the only questionable call to date.
Tim is still stuffing a few into his luggage yet
