Benji Marshall Testimonial

Except the TV show was recorded last year, whilst Benji was a contracted Souths player.
He retired from playing at the end of last season - and was subsequently employed, post football, by us.
When did his contract end with souths?
Apprentice was filmed from 12 October – 2 December 2021.
He apparently signed with us in November in his role.
I say it again, he can go and [This word has been automatically removed] himself.
Real good look for the club

Are Dragons, Broncs, Souths and Blues supporting this too?

Right bro..Fox Sports not paying enough?! thank you for '05 but everyone knows what type of guy he is, he's a goofball, all lip service and schemes

men of league could be the beneficiary of any fundraising.
I'd like to think that this was in the organisers'minds, not just an individual.

So the big split should never have happened (1908 and1895)? Always been a cash grab.
Footnote: see super league. Its always been about the cash

Yes, I know. And good luck to him. Testimonials back in the day were organised by the club for a club legend as a last footy related pay day.
This is organised by his management team, just seems like greed to me. A big pay check to sit there and listen to people tell him how great he was.

If this club organised me a testimonial? i'd run a mile. JP in charge? FMDs Wts would probably have a salary cap fine.

As a Souffs player anything Benji earns on The Apprentice and at his testimonial will count against their cap for the next decade, right? From memory Greenturd wouldn't let Robbie have a sandwich at his testimonial without putting it on our cap.

Man just doing some reflection in the off season watching old some Robbie farah and benji interviews. Of course mostly all the Dramas come up. But the club really does have a lot to atone for. The clubs treatment of players, benji and Robbie has been terrible.

Perhaps the club results are karma well deserved.

It's a miracle that Tim, benj and Robbie want anything to do with this club but my support will be there while they're here.

If they treat them badly again I'm done with the club.
