I used to live in Dulwich Hill in Windsor Road. Used to get the bus home from Broadway at Central. One night me and the missus got on and headed down the back to some vacant seats. There was only one seat. So I let my wife take it next to this blond bloke. I then said, " Geez, you must be Jimmy Jack?" That’s a big call but he was certainly a good one.

Wasn't it Matthew Ridge who Jack was involved with? To his credit Roberts subsequently apologised to Jack which indicates his remorse for the incident. There was an out of court settlement to Jack.

That’s not correct.
Jack left Wests at the end of 1981.The club had at that stage played finals, three of the previous four years and they’d just won the Reserve Grade premiership.
The Magpies continued on to make the semis again in 1982 before the shit started to hit the fan halfway through the following season.
