Pretty sure Blocker and Sirro at least were in New Zealand at the time playing in the Test series. Roberts wouldn't have gotten away with belting Jimmy while he was being held if those 2 were on the field that day that is for sure.

Jimmy got both arms held by Ridge and Darrell Williams while Roberts put a dozen uppercuts to his head.

He still jogged off the field - a tougher bastard you'll never meet!!

Wasn't sure ...from memory Jack missed a NZ tour because of his arm wasn't right ...but that makes sense now when I think about it ...when Wally Lewis scores that amazing try when Langer ...Meninga ...Vautin ......Hancock and Lindner all went off injured ...Lewis mentioned he took Jimmy on his outside because he had just come back from his arm and he still had Mal's arm guard on lol ...that was Game 2 1989 .....a game as a Qlder isn't easy to forget
