Can remember coming home from the shops on a Saturday morning (literally when Satuday shopping started in Ipswich ) dad would have the ABC on listening to the form reports ...and they'd always seemed to play Marty Robbins El Paso ...greats times ...Dad let us pick a horse and he'd put a small bet on for us .....later in life the two things the old man and I could talk about was the nags and rugby league ....anything else was off limits as it would end in WW3 ......2 stubborn old rams butting heads lol

One thing that I like to look at as if they can run anti clockwise ...some horses struggle with it and some in this race have never run anti clockwise and whether they can handle that tight Flemington turn .....

That is what I would box for a trifecta .....if you put it on for $20 you'd get 5/6 of the full amount ...if you pushed me for a winner either 4 or 19

If you wanted to add 2 more and boxed 6 and threw say $70 on it ( you'd get about half the full amount ) ...I'd add Vow and Declare and Hoo ya Mal .....
