I hope Sheens is being careful and we don't have both Brooks and Hastings leave with the squad we seem to be building. We need a decent organising half, got plenty of options at 6's.

Got to give shifty and Benji props about one thing they seemed to have plugged the leaks coming out of the joint. Most of the stuff coming out seems to be from journo's who get fed by player managers. Not great for us not having too many rumors to sift through but it is what it is.

I'd be more worried if he played a heap of games in Nsw cup given our cup side lost nearly every game and conceded a massive no of points .I'm just judging what I saw big ,very fast and can make line breaks .My gut tells me he's got something .

Contrary to others i think he is a better half by far then Hastings and AD. No,he has not performed as we all expected, but the side was a slow shambles all over the park. Two years ago Hunt and Townsend copped the same hate, but playing in a better side had them firing again. I'm not saying that will happen, but i think Sheens and Marshall will keep him, and get him to work overtime on his kicking game. If not, we need a new half, not Hastings and AD.
Difference is Hunt and Townsend always had good kicking games and were intelligent players. They also more often than not take the correct option. They're also very strong communicators which is the halfs main job. Brooks is mute

Taking into account the players who have been moved on who were under contract, the retention of the core group of kids, on top of Api + Ice….adding Bateman and potentially Klemmer would make it the best recruitment/retention period the club has had for a period of time.
