Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yep …. I have now learned to speed read.
Usually the first sentence in the post will tell the tale.
Record for last 10 pages is 5.7 minutes of my life I waisted … of reading mostly repetitive irrelevant rubbish.
I had to read your post, thanks for reading mine.
Fact is, some of us get bored in the off season as we are not raging at our team. So being on the forum takes the heat away.

I love how we hear Hastings is on the outer so all start convincing our selfs it’s a good move hahaha
Hastings has played well at 13 for WTs and that is where Sheens wants him to play. Hastings believes he is a 7. There is a shortage of halves in the NRL. The Knights appeared to have missed Brooks. The media report the Knights have now approached Hastings.

Hmmm. Maybe even Anasta's manager didn't know why we signed him. He also played his first 4 games at second row (Milky was half), but maybe that was Potter's work.

Anasta's manager Greg Willett said he had been in talks with the Tigers for a couple of weeks, who view the former NSW Origin representative as an ideal replacement for departing back-rower Gareth Ellis.

Maybe just maybe with the sheens playing back fiddle after Madge left, he saw a side from Hastings that he didn’t like?!? As I have said in another post. Where there’s smoke there’s fire.
I remember for years there was a rumour that Benj and Robbie hated each other, and everybody on the forum would say, "where there's smoke there's fire". Sometimes there isn't.

Knights jurno for those that don't know

This makes me very disappointed. Jacko couldn’t have done any more for WT this year and he’s being potentially f****ed off. It doesn't set a good example for the squad in terms of how passion, pride and commitment are rewarded. Can’t believe they’ve made me this cross in the bloody off-season. To just punt him really really hurts my inside. Just hoping it's all BS.

All I read is 9 years…. 9 years this, 9 years that…

9 years ago, in 2014 brooks was a 19 year old kid, with 1 NRL game under his belt - yet it was his team, and he’s the leader?

The year after that he was 20, with 22 games under his belt - his team and he’s the leader? Really??

Year after that, he’s 21 - with 46 games under his belt…

1 year of development with a senior half (Braith Anasta - 2014 version) as his mentor…

If I told you tomorrow, we’re buying a 21 year old halfback, that’s played 40 odd games - that is going to Lead to the promised land, you’d tie me to the train tracks - and well within your rights… it’s a kid with no experience…

Games 50-100 is where he should be making something of a stamp as a player… whattaya know, almost wins the dally m, halfback of the year…

Form has been indifferent the last few years, as has the team as a whole - the quality of the squad has declined to the point where we’ve gone from a bottom 4 side to a bottom side…

But yeah - 9 years - no finals - all 1 blokes fault.
Luke Brooks is the most unsuccessful player in Rugby league history. Fact
