Penrith I don't think are better at all.

Lazzo, Walters and Todd much better than Walker, Simmons and Clarke.

Backrow maybe give to Penrith with Cartwight and Geyer over Gaffey and Coyne, however Geyer is one of the most overrated players of all time. I wouldnt argue against someone saying Gaffey and Coyne were better.

Lance over Mortimer at lock for me, although I do like Mortimer.

My theory is the Italian side had a WT influence and they had a look at Brown at 13 noticed Brown was doing the dig in the line and pass for the Italians. Looked good in that role.

What's past got to do with anything? Before he got dropped at Parra he wasn't performing. Giving away penalties, undisciplined. Mongrel is all good but only if used with discipline.


Unless Parra pays half the contract then no deal.

He was critical of the coach putting his son in the starting 17 , that’s why he is leaving the eels , and I am sure that had a lot to do with his form , it always helps to know the facts

Don’t know if we’ve got anything like this in place at the moment, haven’t heard about it if we do.

Clubs do have to be very careful about the people they place young players with too, have spoken to a current NRL player (not with us) about being treated really poorly by a family they got placed with when they were only 16-17 moving to Australia for the first time.

A few years ago they advertise to get people to take in young players from out of town
