TS, everyone wants to be a fb now. Better money and involvement.
In my day I played fb for a while coz no one else wanted to !! Times have changed.

We dont mind signing fullbacks that arent fullbacks Mbye, Doueihi possibly Staines we have form. Herbie is quality though just hope its an incentives based offer triggered upon making the FB slot his own.

I’ve seen him play fullback a few times in first grade.

Goes really well there.

Definitely a better option than Laurie.

Mmm, interesting call but he is a bigger, stronger body. Played well in WC, albeit as centre.

So basically according to Bishop, Tigers are waiting to announce Bateman to see if Moses comes next year, so if Moses does come hypothetically what we tell Bateman to go back to England for 12 months and ask for our 250k to be refunded. It doesn't make any sense.

Our spine is a massive issue. Api is quality but Brooksy is unproven at this level after how many years, Doueihi is unproven albeit he has been in grade for less time and Laurie is unproven.

It sounds like the club is trying to upgrade these positions.

Doueihi and Laurie to me have plenty of upsides but their careers are looking pretty bleak at this point. Hopefully for themselves they turn it around.

Worked out for Inglis and Latrell. Herbie has a similar build to both of them, 6ft 3 and 103kg.

He's a powerful runner that finds the line with ease, he can kick goals and he's only 22.

Would be a massive signing if we pull it off.

been quoted a few times that Marshall and Sheens developed a recruitment guide with player profiles/attributes for certain positions... both Staines and Farnworth are taller, speedier athletes than Laurie. its clear what they're looking for in a fullback.
