I was thinking that a tim sheens typical half like Scott Prince, Robert lui very different attacking halves to cronk, Cleary. Scott and Robert were superior in attack but cronk and Nathan had the game plan skills.

What about Ricky and Benji ?

Re Moses- Not getting my hopes up but I find it extremely hard to believe that if he was staying the club would have announced it by now and made a massive media storm about it.

I think @THE POM said his manager would advise this week of his decision, so fingers crossed he has picked us for 2024 and if that comes in, we then look for 2023

Parra’s Instagram doesn’t have a single shot of him for months. That’s weird seeing as he is their best player.

I think the writing is on the wall, no contract to remain with your club takes this long. Either way he is leaving parra. Have heard through the vine… people very close to him say that he isn’t staying.

I've been hearing thru the vine as well. Coolabah 5 litre Traditional Dry Red in fact. In moderation of course.🍷It makes me 25 % more certain that MM is coming. The trouble is sometimes I'm 25 % less confident. 🍷

Think you may be right. Dogs didn't waste any time announcing Burton's extension today and you'd figure Moses retention would be no less important to the Eels so why the delay if it's already happened?

Guaranteed all next year people will be comparing Brooks vs Hastings. It’s gonna happen and I think it’s a fair assessment of whether our mgmt got it right or not.

My post was not about the Hastings crap on the forum, or the Brooks crap. The post was about Newcastles roster, being quite good but not performing. Ponga goes from skate board IQ and drifting out of games, to being SOO star, and his ego and Hastings style of play and ego could clash. The Hastings , Brooks stuff is boring and stupid!

Ricky Stuart and also Greg Alexander were a couple more of his halves. Both excellent players - Stuart a schemer while Alexander had that great attacking game.

I'm still a big fan of speed and cunning in the halves, you must have at lest one. Tony Branson,Fittler,Lewis and others were big 5/8s, so is Cleary as a 7, but they must balance, hence Wally and Alf , Cleary and Lui . But none were slow !

I bumped into Cloudy Glock today & he said he will tell the forum what MM was doing after it was announced.

I'd quite happily tell Mitchell Moses what he can go and do.

Seeing tigers fans truly celebrate like that is something I desperately hope we get to see in the coming years
