I’d probably play Talau over AJ but apart from that I’d agree. I think Talau has more upside long-term but actually like how well AJ has gone in preseason too.

Laurie will be the FB. Nofo and Staines are the wings imo. Staines has shown more than Tupou, including his time at the panthers. Centres Naden and Talau/To'a pending fitness. I think Kepaoa will play off the bench.

yeah like. id go staines for novo just because you know he did just enough to get there. I'd run TT on the bench as cover for backs and forwards but he played pretty well today so who knows. bench 1 cover for 9, 1 forward/back cover and 2 solid forwards, one who can cover an edge.

I think Staines has a slighter advantage over Tupou. Has the ‘x factor’ and size but Staines has been very good over the past two trials and was really strong on carries, plus has greater experience.

depends if we get Moses in 2024 I guess. It is Sheens remember anything is possible.
he started terrible (probably more not having an established 7 next to him) but played well today best game he has played at 6 apart from the Brisbane game last year where he had a blinder.

You cannot have a fullback that is bad under a high ball. DCE,Cleary, Munster and all the teams will have a field day with Laurie at the back. Stains is solid. fast, and still very young, he will get better. It's only a matter of time,
there is no one else:- Stains at fullback.
