Good effort from Aust to keep India to 262. Honestly though when you open the bowling on day 2 with a spinner the game is a farce.

The top team in the world needs to be diverse and be able to produce quality spinners and play against spin

He was "weary" and "exhausted" because he had to attend the AB Medal as well, poor bugger.

Wouldn't mind putting cash on the scenario that if Aus win this Test...heroic Davey will pad up for the third Test. If they lose, he will be happy to ride the bench and avoid the heat and scrutiny.

Outside of Australia and South Africa his average is pretty poor. We kneecap ourselves overseas because he's decent in Australia on flat wickets.

Selectors musn't have been impressed with his sydney test performance and sent for the other bloke.
Why select him for India in the first place ?
Poor bugger missed out on the big bash final to be an extra in India.

There was public comment that he couldn't even find form in the nets over there. His bowling in the Sydney test was very poor.

Do feel for him though; like Swepson he has watched a lot of test cricket from the sidelines whilst only taking the field to carry drinks and replacement batting gloves.

Can someone explain the debacle of selecting Green Starc and Hazelwood for this tour? The Border/?Gavaskar trophy is now decided and these three were not fit enough to play at all. Whose fault is this ? someone should be made responsible for this massive fail? The selectors? The boys club coach Ronald Mc Donald? Cummins?
How do you get three mistakes with injury. It beggars belief
