Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Looked a lot like that in the coaches box as well last Sunday. Robbie and Benji seated at the front using the radio while Sheens was standing in the background. I like it
I’ll like what ever works, let’s just watch and see what evolves as the season progresses.
Tim might go back to his preferred position on the sideline and let the trainees do the high up assessment.
But I figure if you see Tim sitting down and on the 2 way we’ve got on field issues.

As I said a couple of weeks ago, the minute Gus pulls out and says he’s not leaving Parra we knew he wasn’t coming.

We’ve never beaten Gus to a signing over numerous years.
Well I will say it’s strange how all articles related to this say “ Moses is expected to sign” or similar.
Maybe Parra just waiting for Monday to formally announce prior to team lists on Tuesday, or is there still a twist in the tiger tail (tale).

We are good to go this year , signings we have will do the job , I have a early edition call inthe game against Parra
tigers have the ball 20 out for the red zone , Steph players the balll to Appi , out to brooks on to Ad and a nice pass to Naden who is taken down 35 out , nice run that 15 metres , Naden plays it to Appi out to brooks inside to Bateman who crashed into the defence , another nice gain by the tigers , Bateman to Appi out to brooks on to Klemmer who gets through the first line and is taken down 40 out from the eels line , ( Gee tigers making progress easy mtrs , Klemmer back to Appi , out to brooks who turns it inside to a hard running Pappi who goes straight through , oohhh that was easy from the tigers , wow did you see mosses just bounce of Papi , made him look like a second grader reserve grader , hopeless effort that , , tigers kick to come , AD places the ball , moves in and over it goes , tigers 32 eels 4 , half time is less than 2 minutes away , ( gee the eels have no answer to this tigers side full of running and passing , Klemmer , Bateman , Appi , Papi , Brooks all leading the way , and they haven’t even used the bench yet , ( look at that bench ( Pole , Blore , Simkins , James ) eels better be ready for another lesson in the second half
Rinse and repeat.

I certainly can talk - at length - about the litany of blunders Tim Sheens made in his many years in the UK. Quite frankly, some of his signings were lunacy and it took Tony Smith (a far better coach, IMO) a fair amount of time to repair the mess he left at Hull KR.

This is a great read isn't it. He is doing pretty well here now.

Did anyone hear Corey Parker on SEN this afternoon saying something like the Moses deal is not done and Benji is still in contact with him ?? Anyone hear this.
Don't want that little tanking grub here, but there would be one upside if we got him for 2024 and that would be seeing him squirm and cop crap off those Parra-site supporters for the whole of the 2023 season.

Would surely guarantee that the River Snakes would end up a major train wreck for this season and hopefully many more to come.

Can someone explain the love for Tumeth?

I know he’s still a kid but he’s like a smaller version of Seyfarth from what I’ve seen of him play.

Not dynamic… bit of a plodder and pretty small-ish.

Anyone shed any light?
What hype is there? Most of our backrowers coming through have been hyped more than him.

All I see is a local junior who is having his first year out of age group footy who may or may not make it as an NRL regular.

First and foremost I support Liverpool. (St. Helens a close second) 99.43% of Liverpool fans don't even know you exist. The rest think you play in South America, or Antarctica or some other far flung part of the world where no one visits. I'm the best friend you have up there. 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha - I'm a sheep who likes soccer more than league....

Peabrain!

He then went to Wigan and won a ton of trophies. They were easily the best team on the planet at the time largely because they were the only full time team on the planet. After that he went to Auckland - disaster. Returned to Wigan - bigger disaster. Coaches have a shelf-life - whether it be rugby, football, gridiron, whatever. When it's hot it's hot. And when it goes sideways you very rarely come back. In his final two stints in England Sheens took Hull KR up from the second division, won some games, lost even more games, made a ton of very dubious signings (Adam Quinlan was his playmaking fullback ... Adam Quinlan!), the team's form collapsed, he lost the dressing room and they ran him out the door. He then went to Widnes and was kicked out before he'd even taken off his coat. If Sheens had been all that he would have been snapped up by one of the bigger teams (like a Tony Smith or an Ian Watson). No one was interested in hiring him - beyond Widnes. No one.
Ian Watson and Tony Smith...... bahahahahaha!

Those turds wouldn't get a run in the NRL!

I'm surprised no one is taking a deeper look at the Roosters. There are too many career-ending injuries at that place for it to be a coincidence. Or maybe they're all just playing harder than everyone else.
And your point is ? Deliberate, drugs, cappuccinos, seafood and fine wine ?
Come on R, spit it out ?
