Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Laurie became a full back at Panthers only because he had two very talented 6s in front of him..it was pretty much a default position for him
He's a natural 6...and at a pinch maybe even a 7..particularly as we can't find one
I hope he gets an opportunity in the halves and more importantly focussed coaching in these positions, and isn't just discarded when he misses tackles in the last line of defence..or drops too many high balls

It'll be interesting what Sheens/Benji can do with Laurie, i suspect they see something in him they can polish and mold. They could very well see a transition from fullback to 6 or 7 which could happen during the year, in which we have Staines that is adequate back up. I suspect they were all in on Moses because he is at the top of his game right now and could almost guarantee progression, but i dont think they will be slitting their wrists because he didnt come here. As Sheens said we are a development club, that doesnt just mean with the juniors that could be with individuals such as Laurie developing into a half, interesting times ahead.

I'd hardly call having children an injury 😉

My point is that they have had a lot of head knock and mental health issues. I'm not sore at the Roosters generally, who and how they sign players doesn't phase me.
Fletcher reckons they sign players because of a sign in the CoE foyer which says....”we play to win GFs.” Fox stated they paid more than the $500k for Young, but their offer was lower than Panthers.
So is Fletcher getting the sign writers in? 😁

Has anyone ever seen what his long kicking game is like (from junior days)?

Hahaha - I'm a sheep who likes soccer more than league....

Peabrain!
I realize that to someone who thinks history is anything with a dry coat of paint, entertainment is a triple-header of Prisoner Cell Block H/BMX Bandits/Howling III: The Marsupials and fine-dining being able to eat your fairy bread with a knife and fork this might come as a surprise to you but - my team is worth more than the NRL, ARU and AFL combined. Now run along Skippy or you'll miss that appointment with the flying doctor ... 🤣🤣🤣

thats an epic post. BMX bandits was unreal

We were never going to land Crichton or Farnsworth. One fixated on Ciraldo and the other on QLD.
I'm surprised Farnworth left - especially as he was prepared to play on a discount just to remain at the Broncos. Something not right about that club. Every time I see Ikin lately he looks like a guy who has realized leaving FOX was perhaps not the smartest move.
