I get more angry at blokes like AJ. They do three fifths of Jack shit then when the ball comes to them they drop it. Brooks played poorly again, don’t get me wrong.

Great post. I said this out loud during the game.

The crash play for Twal has almost become a joke. You can see the players all wanting to be the bloke who assists him.

But he has had 100s of crash plays called for him in his career...many with simple one on one assignments to score.

And never has.

Seems like a great bloke and they all love him...but running a play that has failed 100s of times is not overly smart.

Wind up Pole or Blore and keep that play for them.

I love paws as a forum member but after yesterdays performance he must be sitting at the computer putting a line through all the excuses he CANT use to explain that performance...
Madge is gone.Hastings is gone,Benji,Farah and Sheens the coaching brilliance bought back by the WTs, best recruitment in years,fantastic playing style introduced instead of the hardline style previously used..AND WE STILL LOST...I think he could be on the valium and is resting,he must be devestated that he cant blame Madge or the others for this lots poor handling and not scoring more than the other team...
sidenote...I do hope he is ok,because he usually DOES come on and gives his input after games...
 
LB didn’t lose us the game yesterday, he was shit but wasn’t alone. Our right side defence lost us the game and was found out hard and our man AD was a lamp post on two occasions. DL is also to blame for two of them as well. TT‘s defence as well as his handling was rubbish - he was playing injured/hurt.

BTW his missed tackle count was up but he was often the the first one to make contact and then fall off as the rest of the defence finished the tackle. I don’t recall any of his missed tackles leading to a break or try.

LB couldn’t win us the game yesterday, but he was involved in a lot of plays that got us momentum and the team failed to capitalise due to handling errors. He was shit at times as well no excuses.
AD did score 1st try that was a great run. But AD, API and DL also couldn’t win us the game neither. AD missed 2 GK’s as well.

The team was good in patches, let’s see how we go after a few weeks.

I think you’d be surprised. That level of fanaticism enables the fanatics to play high level mental gymnastics that rational thinking people cannot understand. It’s actually a defence mechanism for the patient as it enables them to create a false narrative and keep the fantasy world they live going. If paws was to actually start seeing brooks as the player he is and not the immortal he’s created in his mind, it could lead to a full mental break.
