I did watch hoping for crap to be thrust on the Dogs, just like when he said Barrett will be at the Bulldogs long after I leave, the Bulldogs need an experienced coach, we are not after Ciraldo, The Tigers offering Ciraldo a 5 year deal is just desperation, we are not interested in JAC.
Gus was never called on any of these statements, and most he repeated over and over, saying the media are making stuff up.

So do I, though I think most of the frustration us fans feel with the journos is in the inconsistency. Why can they pan us for round 1 but not the bulldogs. Who spent more on recruitment and apart from last year we have regularly finished higher than.

That’s my biggest issue, we deserve most of what we get, but we get unfairly singled out, quite a few other teams have warranted a bashing from the media but escaped for some reason

We have zero centre prospects in our top 3 grades. Nothing but a bunch of plodders. We can't rely on sg ball kids coming through and immediately killing it. We need depth, the kid has quality. if talau and kepaoa can get re-signed on nrl contracts then this kid could get a train and trial, and if he gets injured he gets cut...
