Unfortunately in all the good things you note about Brooks there is no mention of anything good he is supposed to be doing as a halfback.

Don't know why people are criticising Hastings. He did us a massive favour breaking Talau's nose. Sheens would have kept picking the rancid Talau, Hastings forced his hand, for a few weeks at least.
I watched the game and Brooks was atrocious.. he does not do the job of the halfback and the entire team respond accordingly!!It's a common theme. Too many peeps have put their flag on the Brooks is the problem banner and they don't even watch the game.
My take on the game....
AD needs to realise he doesn't have to do everything. So many plays broke down because he couldn't give it up.
Forwards lope into the defensive line. Every time they get the ball they skip and dance and stutter step....run the damn ball forward and hard.
Ball handling....hold onto the goddamn ball.
200 passes a training session? Doesn't seem to have worked because at times we just throw the ball in the air and hope for the best. Lots of passing doesn't equal good passing.
David Nofoaluma....worst player on the park highlighted by his 360 degree dosey do before flinging a hospital pass to the first tigers player he saw resulting in a smashing and dropped ball. If he never wore our colors again it would be too soon. Actively regressing every single game and surely has the most run sideways metres in the game.
Saying brooks was the best player is dumber than your dumb assessment of me calling brooks dumb and everyone who continues to support him completely dumb !This argument has been done multiple times. It's stupid. The question is who was the best half out there and it was Brooks. The next question is who was our best player and it was Brooks.
There are no dumb questions but the halfback response to Brooks is a dumb argument.
I'll throw this in, there are a few players that may have their minds on different surrounds even though their committed to the club. Steph, Nofa and AD played way below an acceptable standard yesterday if they keep doing it they are no use at all to the club.My take on the game....

I didn't want Hastings to go but I'm not that sure he would have been the difference. He did some things that should have handed the game to us on a platter - the Channel 9 team (yes I know it's channel 9) were quite critical of Hastings performance. If Hastings was our halfback today we win that game. Brooks was better than AD and had some good moments today but as halfback with the extra man, all that was needed was composure and control from the halfback. Newcastle had it, Tigers were panicked and frantic which stems from Brooks playing that way as half

Hahaha.
All good mate.
We obviously see things differently
Wish I had your eyes!

Yeah, guiding the Raiders to unprecedented success??Laughing.
The Raiders would have easily put 50 on that Knights team yesterday.Yeah, guiding the Raiders to unprecedented success??
Naden was playing injured. So much for that speech about not playing injured players.OOOOOH DEEEEAR. I was afraid of a start like this......was Naden playing yesterday ? I didn't hear or see him until the last few minutes of the match, so that's not good, what was he doing, I thought they all looked pretty ordinary yesterday just the same as I remeber them last season, and look where we are on the ladder already....not good signs so far, and I think Api looks very disinterested, and he made a couple of mistakes too so did Pappali, oh dear.
