I think the come back has somewhat papered over the cracks, we simply cannot go into next game with Doueihi at 6 and Brooks at 7. It was blatantly obvious when a career reggies half came on we got better, i dont even know if i can deal with Doueihi at 1 for me its centre or bust.

we don't really have a lot of options and depth so for 2023 he probably makes the 17. Why can't he play 14 and come on for a stint at lock

Kepaoa has been a revelation bringing impact to the team. He has played well in all games in an unfamiliar position. I'm surprised he hasn't received more favourable comments.

I've been really impressed by Kepoa.

Listening to the after game presser, I was embarrassed for the club with some of Sheen's answers to questions. I have never heard a coach make up so many excuses for their own failures, it was poor at best. Does anybody not think that Shane Flanagan could have done better job? Sheen's is out of touch and now our of answers. Been saying it of over a year, Douhei is not a No 6

Just some thoughts for yesterday and sorry if it's already been said....
Game changed once we got AD away from the ball....never to play in the halves again he was woeful. his only strong point was his penalty kicks for touch. Every point that the dogs scored was through something AD did or didn't do. He killed our attack every time.
Brooks and Wakeham together?? I liked it. BW added some much needed spark and a lot of speed.
Never been so happy to see Nofoaluma hooked....thank god.
Klemmer and Bateman were immense, I like Kepaoa and Pole.
There are a few positives out of this game.
For mine, get BW and LB in the halves next week....you want to play running football that's the go.
Prepared to be roasted....

Real keen to see the make up of the side this week with Ice and Bateman both in. I feel Blore and Kepoa both deserve a spot meaning Twal makes way? I think there is more upside to the other two. Better still don’t carry a back on the bench and play Joffa, Kepoa, Blore and Twal as the bench. Kepoa could cover any injury to outside backs

Stains, Kepaoa, Simpkin, have been the big improvers. Now Sheens is moving Staines who is going well, and replacing him with a dud. AD, and Laurie offered extensions, and both are not 1st gde standard, Stains has not been extended, i wonder if he is going elswhere ? Or is the club just dumb ?

I see him back up and score a great try through speed, then playing out the back to Wakeham who passes it to Nadan who makes a bust and Pole backs up to score and then makes a great bust and turns the ball back in side to Staines who scores.

In watching the game yesterday, we have a lot to work on , but by hell we did some good things too.
We watched the game first WITHOUT the commentary. I then watched the game with the commentary. It appears to me about 1/2 the posters here are happy to put on on the BS blindfold supplied by the commentators instead of actually watching the game & deciding for themselves what is actually happening. I am not Doughie or a Brooks hater. But it’s clear Doughie was not at his best yesterday & his 2 missed tackles both lead to tries. I also note Brooks game after Wakeham came on . That game yesterday could have gone either way, yet if you believe the press the dogs will win the premiership. If that is the case ,and based on that game yesterday, then we are one mistake a game away from being up there too. As we are all disappointed with results so far, it can blind us to where we are improving. We need some work, but getting that right mix in the halves is crucial. I think we are close to cracking it. Also stop eating the BS feed by the media. If you keep eating it, you start to believe it.
