Jock is not exactly getting much game time at broncos, couldn't tackle last year so cartilaginous he has improved any

Pretty close. Brooks is a non dominant half who is primarily a runner.

Doueihi wants to be a 6 for the money but he isn't good enough and he is ruining his career.

He wasn't far off any of our halves last year and he was easily a lot better than AD. I think we should have kept him. He is similar to Wakeham. Maybe Wakeham is a little better. The thing is we are spending a lot of money on a set of halves who aren't up to it. Brooks on a small contract at 6 might go okay.

Brooks can hopefully be a running 6 like Dylan brown at Parramatta. Hence that is probably one reason we are chasing Moses.
If AD transitions to fullback he can still get good coin, it may work

AD too slow to be a fullback imo... all teams would have to do is kick to corners early in the tackle count & by the time he gets to the ball the chasers will already be there.

Brooks on a heavily reduced contract 600k or 650k as a 6 (with long service discounts on the cap of 180k) would take the figer to 470k in salary cap terms is a good contract.
As for Jock Madden nah he was a dud, AD and brooks would get in front of him I reckon.

I think he can run the ball back pretty hard and he did play well at souths in a semi final at fullback. I just don't think you can not play him in the 17 our depth is pretty bad for 2023

I've given up on AD. He isn't quick enough to be anywhere in the backline and he can't tackle. I also don't get why we try and find spots for players that aren't performing.

I go back to the final try we scored. Brooks carved them up and set up Staines running through. I doubt Doueihi is backing him up there. I don't know if he has the pace to go with Brooks or Api or whoever.

To be fair at fullback he is a hard runner and he is good under the high ball.

I think Bula would be licking his lips thinking come round 11 i can be pushing for starting fullback position and making a list of things to improve on to be the starting 1
 
He must have pace.
He covered a 40/20 when he was positioned in the middle of the field.
In the try where the kick was fielded by a leaping Alomoti he caught up with him to make a tackle.
He isn’t slow at top end, he just doesn’t have instant acceleration.
Similar to Hastings. It’s that quickness that the likes of Wakeham, Brooks, Api and Laurie have that Doueihi doesn’t have. But he’d probably outrun all three on the length of the field. Maybe not Brooks the little fella holds his pace pretty good.

He showed touches yesterday that definitely suggest he belongs in 1st grade BUT NOT as a playmaker! Where to play him is the dilemma? The dummy and set up the try for Staines and the speed to run away for a try was 1st grade stuff but yes I agree not as a playmaker. He has the YIPS and maybe putting him on the bench or out wider in the backline? Who then goes into the halves besides Wakeham as it certainly cannot be Douhei.

Couldn't care less if Brooks is in the team or not - my point is everyone hates him so much they don't care who replaces him, even if it's Wakeham who almost everyone agreed is barely a first grader when he was signed.

I think Wakeham is a worse footballer than Brooks. To me that's clear as day, and I am not going to let my hate/frustration for him get in the way of that. I'd also bet every other club would pick Brooks over Wakeham.

And, I will repeat it once again - I do NOT want Brooks/AD in the halves. We need sign a halfback, and the rest of them can fight for the 6 until we bring through one of the touted juniors.
