Sheens is tanking.

I find it strange that all we heard in the off season was talk about Benji and he was in media etc.. But not its silence for the last 4 weeks ??? Does he still want to be coach ??

Sheens I'd just taking the heat off him.
Benj will cop it in 2 years time when he rolls out his new hb Luka Books
 
this place has gone made,who isn't tanking?only good news on here the past 2 weeks,was a rumor Pascoe was walking ,etc, Noffa on the outer,Brooks won't be re signed, Douihe found a position were its ok 2 hog the ball and Liechart will b turned into a fortress.LOL

The fact they don't try annoys me the most. Look at the Dolphins. Trying their guts out. Can barely move. Then you look at a player like Douhie who is even getting a sweat up with his effort.
 
We are close to entering Sheens end game now. He’s nearly got rid of Pascoe by asking him to help with drills and sit in on his half time speech knowing it would be captured on cameras. We won’t know for sure until Pascoe does a tell all autobiography called “life behind the scarf” but I’d bet money sheens sent him a sneaky text at the exact moment the cameras would pick it up. All to enrage the talking heads and create further confusion at the club.

It gets nasty from here. Strap in boys.

Did you hear Gus sum it up beautifully. Pascoe is a corporate CEO, a numbers man, good with sponsors and other opportunities. His footy expertise is limited
Now Lee likes him because the Corporate side is running well but the fans hate him coz the footy side is running terribly. Now you may remember that was why we originally bought TS in as Director of Football but when he took on the coaching role did he retain that responsibility as well.
Its kinda like approving your own spending without other involvement. To me the Director of Football audits the footy operations dept and points out problems to the Chair and the Board, then looks at solutions.
Maybe Pascoe is good at certain things but we now need to bring in a hard nosed Director of Football to keep a close eye on all aspects of the footy operations side.

Didn’t a bunch of wests sponsors get done by fair trading or go bust?

The other two are the lowest level of sponsorship KFC give out and an ambulance chasing firm that cost the club a chair position to get the $$$$. Not really high level negotiations but the Paddle Pop Lion.

I remember them when everyone talks about the quality financial advice on offer at the Rorters. They were some property investment firm. Rugby league players are really smart and some of them actually put in money. They got burned.

Yeah people keep pointing out he is a good commercial CEO.
How hard could that be when you are given your full salary cap plus extra allowances from the NRL every year?
The club lurches from one disaster to another on the field and off it.
 
We are in the first year of a five year plan. Don’t panic.

At the end of the 5 years we should be completely terrible and a laughing stock, with a roster made up of kids, pensioners, cast-offs and fringe first graders.

From there we start the 15 year plan to play in a final.

We are well ahead of schedule as we are already complete shit in year 1
