Brooks is tanking

He's always been this bad.

I've said it a million times before on this thread and others, I don't think he is tanking, I think he is playing beyond his abilities. He is just now being found out so hard as he has a decent forward pack that can get him into the 20m at will and he brainfarts on his brainfarts. The dudes fraudulent career has been exposed so bad this season. The old "he cant do anything, he plays behind pillows" has been well and truly shot to death.

And he's never stunk like this before. It used to just feel like we'd be getting beaten and he'd look bad, then when he had space he'd be okay to good. Now rest of team is good and he is dreadful. His barely seems able to pass, and he's only even attempting the most basic passes.

It's almost like rehiring the coach we sacked a decade ago and putting on an assistant coach who hasn't even coached a youth rep side might have been a bad idea. Who'd have thought it, huh?

Are there any hard rusted on Brooks supporters still willing to offer excuses?
Lets see how he goes behind a decent pack ?

We simply can't resign him, from the moment he was anointed the next Joey Johns he's been on a slippery slope. He's had what 5 or 6 coaches who all thought they could get the best from him, and what Cleary was the only one who got what id say is competent displays out of him.

Is he tanking i dunno part of me feels he isnt capable but the last game of 2021 against the dogs (i think) who were horrible i think he was giving it a crack.

He did it twice to Kepoa lol. In the last few mins when it was a 4 on 3 and just needed a simple pass out in front he bullets it into Kepoa's head. Kepoa had to lift his arms above his head to try catch it and nearly got killed by the winger as a result.

Last week the passes from Brooks were behind players. This week they were at the head.

So players should be able to run onto them next week.
 
I don’t like to put the slipper into the bloke when he’s down but he does need to be dropped pronto , it’s the best thing for himself and the team
