Yeah, curious on that. It's the grant from state, so Campbelltown council may be adding more to that. Canada Bay council paid the majority of concord coe.$16.7 million while that’s a lot of money for the average folks, it doesn’t seem like a whole lot of money to put towards building another COE. The Concord one got over $80 million so while it is good the MacArthur region is getting one, must not be a permanent one if we’re only spending $16.7 million. Unless the club is paying for some of it as well.
UWS involved as well so potentially there could be three or four funding sources.Yeah, curious on that. It's the grant from state, so Campbelltown council may be adding more to that. Canada Bay council paid the majority of concord coe.
Not really, our COE at concord is twice as expensive as most other clubs coe's. Think souths roosters, manly etc are all around the 20-25 mil mark.$16.7 million while that’s a lot of money for the average folks, it doesn’t seem like a whole lot of money to put towards building another COE. Roosters COE cost $10M and a few brown paper bags.😂Not really, our COE at concord is twice as expensive as most other clubs coe's. Think souths roosters, manly etc are all around the 20-25 mil mark.
Given this isn't even for the NRL squad it's a great get for us.
We would have better crowds at Campbelltown with a gun stadium. Doesn't have to be huge in size, just needs to be well designed to encourage better atmospheres.Great news but can they also add some decent leg room to the seating at the ground?
id say it doesn't happenWhat happens with this now?
WT can’t even be on the winning election side.
With Labor winning I doubt it will happen, it's not in China's interest. What happens with this now?

The project will be delivered by Campbelltown Council, in partnership with Wests Tigers, Western Sydney University, Macarthur Bulls and South-West Sydney Academy of Sport.
Premier Dominic Perrottet and Minister for Sport Alister Henskens today announced more than $309.6 million in funding for local councils and community groups in the Burwood, Camden, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Penrith and Wollondilly LGAs to deliver 14 new and upgraded sports facilities across Western Sydney.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says the new Centre of Excellence at Campbelltown Sports Stadium will provide a huge boost to the club’s pathways program.
“This is exactly what we have been waiting for and we are delighted the funding has been approved,” said Pascoe.
"This is strategically very important for our club.
“The south-west is a huge growth area for us not only for our community programs but for our pathways and elite development as well.
“We have over 7,500 kids in junior rugby league programs in the south-west, and to provide them with the opportunity to be the best they can be, is what we are all about."
Pascoe says both Campbelltown Council and Western Sydney University are to be applauded for their efforts.
“I want to thank Campbelltown Council and Western Sydney University for all their hard work, and working with us to make this opportunity a reality. We are really proud to be a part of this project,” said Pascoe.
“This is a great outcome for the whole community.
"To have an academy and sports hub around Campbelltown Sports Stadium is great for the growth of not only rugby league but other sports as well.”
Premier Perrottet says the new facility will have far reaching benefits.
“The new Sport and Health Centre of Excellence at Leumeah will go a long way to supporting local talent development pathways for athletes into elite sport through specialised science and research programs,” said the Premier.

What a random obscure statement. With Labor winning I doubt it will happen, it's not in China's interest.
Yes, let’s make it as successful as the CoE !We can poison the south west with a centre dedicated to mediocrity as well now.
Not if you know anything about politics Mr DastyariWhat a random obscure statement.
And it could happen, the SW is all Labor. But really there's not much budget, Liberals were going to sell public assets to buy shiny things to try keep votes coming in. It's not popular but yes some projects will be cut but when there is such drastic cuts to the public service at the moment financial prudence and sound economic management will be a welcome change for the state
I'd go back to school if I was you. You've got a lot of learning to doNot if you know anything about politics Mr Dastyari
