Good to see the Hastings fanboys out in force. He has done one really clever thing that set up a try. The way some on here carry on you would think he was the greatest 7 of all time.

Not the greatest but definitely better than the one we have. Tigers made the wrong choice of who to keep.

So you think keeping Brooks while letting Hastings go was a good call? Especially since 2 months later we're now looking for a new half... lol

You are totally misrepresenting what is being said whilst ignoring the theme.
Would we be 4-0 had Jackson stayed here and Brooks left? Probably not.
Would we have been more competitive in every match? Definitely yes.
This is evidenced by him appearing in a worse team and winning games of football. Had we competed strongly for even 50-60 minutes in our 4 games this year, our fortunes would be different.
 
Anyone who doesn't think talk is not an essential on the field is kidding themselves. Yep Hastings has done a couple of good things today with the ball as a half should, but he keeps the team focussed through communication and it is clearly one of the key things that is missing from our team.
