But it is Brad Arthur. If he was smart he would say go get the experience at the Tigers and in two years I'll bring you back

Don't know, I was assuming they were ready to elevate someone or sign someone. Why release Maumalo with no replacement?
Might still not be ready, I know he has huge Wraps on him but better to wait, than throw him in and ruin his development. Not too sure either way.Dasilva to 14
Da Silva is way too young, still only 17 or 18 now.Might still not be ready, I know he has huge Wraps on him but better to wait, than throw him in and ruin his development. Not too sure either way.
What about Rue.
Same. Still asleep at the wheel it seemsDon't know, I was assuming they were ready to elevate someone or sign someone.
Maybe not so attractive now he’s got a child, imagine in laws etc all in Sydney.Honestly why would he want to stay? He is the weekly whipping boy. Get paid down the south of France and go travelling for a while. Much better idea...
Compared to our coaches he's a geniusBut it is Brad Arthur.
What ever you may think of Brad Arthur, he is still a father and would be protective of his son.
The question is, would he allow his son to come to the Wests Tigers and commit career suicide?
He probably reckons he's better off playing for Wenty for the next 4 or 5 years.
At OTHER clubsI don’t buy this theory that it ruins your career. The NRL is full with ex Tigers doing well.

We could of got Flanagan, and should of got FlanaganNot a Great idea 851, we sack the only coach we could get, yet pascoe remains

Just curious what we do from here on in, now Douhi is out. I'm assuming Brooks 6, he started playing footy yesterday finally so I'd leave him there, I'd throw Wakeham in and re-evaluate him as our controlling half till round 10. Otherwise I'll give Smith a crack. Whoever it is needs a few weeks he can't just keep playing musical chairs.Da Silva is way too young, still only 17 or 18 now.
I don’t rate Rua.
I don’t rate Simpkin super highly but he’s better than Rua.
I can understand 1 spot if u need a position filled and your willing to go look on the market. Just seems were culling guys to continue the clean out. What pisses me off Is it took 5 1/2 rounds to see us play some football, imagine how good we would be going if Sheens started this last year after Maguire left. He would have got rid of who he wanted and targeted the ball player he needed in the off-season. We would be light years ahead of where we are now. Most years we give our coaches less than the allowable 30 players to work with which blows my mind for a team at the bottom. Another example of management harming the football department who they love to throw under the bus.
Do you think an untried kid will improve our side that much ? And that's before we find out if he's even competitive at the NRL level.we also gain bula in round 10
His issue has always been laziness. Doesn't get involved, switches off in defence. But the same can be said for our current centres. He's potentially an upgrade on Kepaoa, who is a pretty poor centre though.I agree. He was on a pre-season T&T contract and now NSW Cup. I believe he is 21 as he was our SG Ball Back of the Year in 2021. Drawn comparisons with Sharks' Talakai due to his small powerful stature.
I hope we persevere with him. He needs to involve himself more which may be confidence thing and can be prone to defensive lapses but we need to remember he's only 21. What I was impressed with yesterday was his footwork & his speed. If he has the determination to succeed and we put the time into him, he could be a very destructive powerful centre moving forward.
I'd throw out the line to other backup halves at other clubs (Trindall for example) and offer them more cash and the opportunity to play every week for the rest of the year with a view to upgrade etc...Just curious what we do from here on in, now Douhi is out. Agree with your point on game time.Given the lack of halves in our roster i wonder if Matamua would get any time there? Currently Sheens is doing his best to destroy the kids's future, he's played one match (and a handful of minutes at that) in the last month.
He simply must be playing 80 mins every week in NSW Cup, or at least 30 off the bench in the NRL.
And we wonder why we can't develop younger players.
