While I don't disagree about our halves' inability to capitalise, think another stat (that's not being shown) is also important. We currently lead stats in errors and handling errors, a whopping 43 more than the team with lowest (Penrith). Believe we're averaging 15 dropped balls per game or something.Don't know if this has been posted but
It's a good article. Our halves have let us
down massively. Pretty crazy numbers...

The Wests Tigers are the unluckiest team in the NRL - and the stats prove it
The Tigers have had the short end of the stick this year - but is it their fault?www.theroar.com.au
Yes I agree with the amount of dropped balls we are seeing this year and it makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the 200 passes a session, it appears the more they train to improve something the worse they get. While I don't disagree about our halves' inability to capitalise, think another stat (that's not being shown) is also important. The teams who are just below us (Rabbitohs, Broncos and Storm) have some X factor players and somewhat great halves.
So while I'm not disregarding what you've said. I believe these other areas are significant too.
At the same time I wish we could hold onto the ball stop forcing passes and making rookie errors
Read it earlier and it blew my mind how we have really struggled creating or icing chancesDon't know if this has been posted but

The errors are killing us, an experienced well drilled team can recover, we just just don't seem to have the mental toughness to bounce back after an error it's been an issue for a few years now. Koroisau really makes me so sorry as you can see he can't do more and he's trying to instill some trust and belief in (each other) the team, but like someone said it's like they get stage fright. Think someone even said he made reference to this team not being capable of playing on the front foot.Yeah that's a valid point, absolutely
Every tigers player on the field is passing the ball 200 times a game tho, that's all we practiced in the off season. So reasonable errors when compared to that? While I don't disagree about our halves' inability to capitalise, think another stat (that's not being shown) is also important. I love Bateman. I'd watch @Kaito get a tap dance from him every day of the weekKoriosau really makes me so sorry as you can see he can't do more and he's trying instill trust and belief in them, but like someone said it's like they get stage fright. Bateman I like. He's a competitor and Staines was fantastic on the weekend.
Lauren where can I get those stats you quotedWhile I don't disagree about our halves' inability to capitalise, think another stat (that's not being shown) is also important. Kepaoa actually talked about the team currently working on their resilience and bounce back. There was also some discussion on building combinations - he and Junior Tupou. The errors are killing us, an experienced well drilled team can recover, we just just don't seem to have the mental toughness to bounce back after an error it's been an issue for a few years now. Worried blokes like Api, Bateman and Papalii won’t hang around if something doesn’t change real soon. They are used to winning or at least competing.Koroisau really makes me so sorry as you can see he can't do more and he's trying to instill some trust and belief in (each other) the team, but like someone said it's like they get stage fright. ThankyouThis is from the NRL.com website. You have to click on teams to see them though.
Funnily enough we're leading in offloads and decoys (for the person who commented about the 200 passes).
You're welcome.Thankyou
We need to stop looking at old men. We need a spine we can build long term around. Bring the kid up from SG ball and develops himHmmmm. He's not exactly setting the world on fire but is consistent. Will be 32 this year. Could get him for two years I guess? Last Sheens year and first Benji year. I know I said the other day Lam isn't up for it....but IMO they offer very similar overall. Lam is only 25 so I'd be tempted to give him two years as if he goes well he could be re-signed...
How good does Tupou look eh.Kepaoa actually talked about the team currently working on their resilience and bounce back. There was also some discussion on building combinations - he and Junior Tupou.
I don't see the point bringing Pearce or Widdop across. What ever we do needs to be a long term solution, not a 2 - 3 year bandaid. We need to stop looking at old men. We need a spine we can build long term around. Bring the kid up from SG ball and develops him
