If Cleary, Turuva join Tago as outs, I hope we put a team minus stars to the sword for once.

Yes we beat Panthers over Origin period 2 seasons ago but I have flashbacks to the games we lost when star players were out going all the way back to when Balmain lost to the Baby Broncos that time and even this season to Newcastle when Ponga went off.

Yeah, it was real Madge ball, 5 slow hit ups and a kick. Actually we played the whole game in a very slowish controlled state, assume that was to minimise mistakes but zero flair. I suppose Tim would say you can’t have it both ways.
But it didn’t work coz we were beaten, again.
 
We are actually a small chance with Cleary out. Luai is finding life tough without Kikau.

Staines is a big out for us though. He has the best kick return and tackle 2 run at the club. We will be relying on Nofoaluma to actually make some metres on those yardage sets...dangerous game to be playing.

No disrespect Steve but AJ's defence is pretty good. That situation he's been carved up for after last weeks game was a 5 on 3 which was always going to result in a Manly try. If AJ came in and took the second rower they'd be into him for leaving his centre unmarked or leaving Toupou with two on one. The first Manly try, AJ stopped the second rower after being wrong footed only for the ball to not be wrapped up and passed to support.

I think AJ has been one of our best so far , remember he has been moved from wing to centre then to backrow and he has been great if only some others put his effort in

That was Wests Tigers and Campbelltown not Balmain that lost to baby Broncos

Just re-watched last weeks game again and I think we were pretty good to be honest. I don't accept Manly were poor, I prefer to think we made them look bad. DCE may have been a bit off but other than that, we belted the biggest pack in the comp. With a bit of luck we had tries for Ice, Joffa and Bateman with only millimetres in it. We get those, we beat second place Manly by 12. I've got a feeling....
 
We did beat an understrength Penrith by 20 pts at L.O. two years ago and they had a reasonably good side considering Kikau and Burton were in their team
BUT the standouts for us were Liddle a 95m runaway try . Luciano a great try and Douehi had a great game .None of those 3 are playing.If our half's, edge forwards and centers can Run ,Draw and pass and not just pass the ball along without creating any gaps and if our half's can kick precisely then Winning is possible .Go Tigers hope all 17 have a great game

Yep, I was there unfortunately and can still remember Robert Tanielu running over the top of Withers to score. There was a time when losses like that used to upset me, but now I'm just left with a numb indifference.
