Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If that was a poor game from Galvin in the semi then he must be pretty good. I thought he went OK on the semi. Played the short side too much and there was too much defence there, but the way he went to the line and just the way he carried himself looked alright. I would have loved to see him roam a little, too much short side stuff that day. A little Scott Hill like?
Agreed, just thought he and Keppie should've created a bit more with the amount of ball we had in their red zone.

Parra did go on to win the GF though so they were up against the best competition.

Really talented player, hoping he kicks on.

Lomax is a walk up in our team and shu a good bench option til he gets fit.
Lets see go we go vs the dragons and if things are finally clicking. Hopefully they are and we start to see a few wins. If wr beat dragons n cows lose to roosters we aint bottom of the ladder so thats a start

I went to the game so only saw it live. Agree with KR Galvin didn't have his best game but also agree with the other post saying his game was not that bad.

The boys were looking good then had a few things went against them

- Christopher Faagutu unfortunately got injured first hit up of the first half. Mind you he runs from the back fence

- boys were on top when mason did that classic fullback run. Mason was the best on field for wests

- after mason scored the boys had good territory but unfortunately those dam short drop outs parra got it back and scored that set. Lost a couple of short drop outs.

- the last five to ten minutes unfortunately the guys gassed. It was a hot day. Players like Solomone Saukuru were cramping and basically gave up.

- there was talk Arthur's son who's and 9 and da dilva were the best in the Comp and Arthur scored the winning try basically right Next to da Silva. The parra trainers were really giving it to da Silva saying the best in the Comp just scored and will be playing next week. The younger Arthur kid can play.

I’m just glad alot of the players are a year younger and get to go again next year including da silver I have no doubt he will be the best in the comp next year haha that’s if he isn’t playing 20s full time by then

Classy adults giving it to a 18 yr old kid

So the trainers running the water were sledging a 17/18 year old playing SG Ball? Must have made them feel big about themselves.

Both Arthur and Da Silva looked to be quality on the day. I've seen Tallyn play quite a few games now and it is his slick passing and scheming out of the ruck which really excites me.

Haven't heard about Arthur until this year...
He's not the starter for aus schoolboys or the
baby blues though is he, I know which guy I
would be picking between them in any event

You will be surprised by how many grubs are involved in junior league. Doesn't surprise me at all that kids were being sledged.

Played well this yeah but he's just like Brooks. Inconsistent as.
I think that's a bit of an inaccurate description for Brooks: I consider inconsistent to mean someone whose performances can vary between good and bad - you can't guess which it'll be.

Brooks, on the other hand, has played one really good game in about 23 years, so doesn't come close to qualifying as inconsistent!
