I used to say Flanagan was a clone of
Luke Brooks. Guess I was wrong Flanagan is still wanted, I agree and have been one of the many people that for years have been begging the club to let him go.

But now I feel a little sorry for Luke because he I think is an unwanted man.
I really think he will have a hard time getting into another team. ???
 
I think it's funny that on one hand we bemoan the likes of Brooks, Wakeham, Doueihi, To'a, Talau etc as not being good enough.

But talk of players like Schuster, Shaun Johnson & Zac Lomax is treated with just as much resentment.

However, players like Volkman, who can't get a run ahead of Johnson, are treated as 'stars' by the same board experts.

Not all signings work out. But Schuster, Johnson & Lomax are top level talents. Right now, Wests Tigers lack top level talent. The club has signed 1000 Volkman's in the past. Guys that 'should be playing first grade' at other clubs. I remember a buzz when To'a was added, because he probably should have been playing over the likes of Gagai.

If the Tigers have a realistic shot at any, or all three of these guys- get them.

Unwanted? You’re joking right?
He kicks a 40/20 and a deft grubber for a try assist in the first 3min and for good measure he nails another 40/20 to start off the 2nd half, inflicting the biggest loss against the Panthers this season.
No other half has done that.
Sheens is big on succession planning and at his age he is the 7 he should keep while the youngsters are working towards taking his jersey.

We need an organising halfback.
That is the focus not flashy guys who play well sporadically.
 
I know it wouldn't happen but Joel Caine yesterday mentioned with Matty Johns, Robinson should look at loaning out Sam Walker to wests tigers, saying he would get better experience in nrl rather than reserve grade and Sheens would like that style of halfback.

I wouldn't say no to a loan deal for rest of 2023
