We need to win games using guys who are here for the rebuild. It gives us the opportunity to win games while we're still finding our long term solution. One things for sure, we don't have any immediate medium term options at the club so getting anyone decent on loan won't hurt us at all..
Whoever did the scouting on this guy should be sacked.....deadset Massey Cup levelOliver Gildart - probably the worst centre I have ever seen play
Agree, Brooks was terrible in his first few games this year.Brooks has been really good this season?? With respect, are you able to put your man crush aside for one moment and look at the reality of his overall performance? Most on here would agree that he has been really bad in 2023 which is why we're investigating securing a replacement. Having said that, you are spot on regarding Api being our best player.
Yes, imo that was a bad idea to get Laurie 1 season earlier.Too bad Momo isn't here now.
We have that same opportunity to win each week without becoming a training ground for other clubs. It gives us the opportunity to win games while we're still finding our long term solution. One things for sure, we don't have any immediate medium term options at the club so getting anyone decent on loan won't hurt us at all..
That's very funny about the pub team Twentyforty but, also a sad indictment on the shambolic state of the team in the early rounds. The team is definitely beginning to show signs of life but there is still a long way to go regarding getting the attacking structures right. As I keep harping, how much of this is coaching and how much of this is the incompetence of the halves and their inability to carry out team instructions? One thing is for sure, I can't see Brooks ever becoming a consistently effective first grade half back and he's been given so many chances.Agree, Brooks was terrible in his first few games this year.
I don’t believe much of what I hear in the media, but I do trust my eye and I can see his improvement in each game.
Someone stated on here in March that we looked like a pub team picked after 6 schooners 😂
That was the best description of us back then, but as each game is played..well, like Api said from day one..”our focus is on looking like a footy team.
I know I said after game one that I’ll give it 12 rounds but I’m willing to give them 15 now, with Adams injury.
After rnd 15, if Brooks isn’t our best option at 7, then I’ll understand why the club wants him replaced.
I wouldn't mind Tupou and Bullemore from that list.Oliver Gildart - probably the worst centre I have ever seen play
Can't see the Dogs letting him go, they love the guy as much as Kiraz and I think he has finally cemented his spot at centre.Jake Averillo unsigned for next year. He's been playing great at centre and can do a job in a pinch at 1 and 6. I'd be offering him a contract
You obviously haven't watched us too closely for the last few years.I'm the same why develop players for other teams were not a reserve grade outfit.
The worst part was his complete disrespect towards Wests Tigers when he got his 2 minutes of glory at the Roorters and after scoring a few tries for the Bears at North Sydney.Oliver Gildart - probably the worst centre I have ever seen play
Some might argue that it was a bad idea to get him at all.Yes, imo that was a bad idea to get Laurie 1 season earlier.
I think he is more known for getting good young players into manlys system earlyHave Manly signed up any good players from other clubs under Scott Fulton's watch ? I can not think of one at all maybe him and Macc will make a great team 😅😅😅
Depends on how much we offer him compared to what the dogs have got spare to offerCan't see the Dogs letting him go, they love the guy as much as Kiraz and I think he has finally cemented his spot at centre.
Would be a great aquisition if we could get him, excellent in the centres and very good fullback back up player as you have mentioned.

With Xerri and Chrichton coming next year for the dogs, I get the feeling either Kiraz or Averillo will goCan't see the Dogs letting him go, they love the guy as much as Kiraz and I think he has finally cemented his spot at centre.
