The Dragons are very much in the opposite position to us. They win games they should lose because of Ben Hunt. We lose games we should win because of our halves. He would make a huge difference to our team.
Hunt running the show from 7 with a creative 6 (or worst case scenario Brooks on a very modest deal) would take us a long way because the rest of the team is starting to look the goods now.

No, Dragons aint played finals since 2018 i think. My dad is a massive dragons fan and he has never liked Hunt. My dad thinks Hunt and Brooks are very very similar. Hunt plays origin but not as halfback. He plays better as a hooker which is where he mostly play for the rest of the season

I rate Hunt to a degree, But made me laugh when his name gets tossed up here, He'd be the basis for every thread and discussion from the moment he walked through the Door.
That said, I think there's more upside in our squad than the Dragons in the next year or so...

I completely agree we need an organising half and in all fairness thats what Hunt is but Sullivan from the dragons would be better. He just needs time and if Dragons were smart they have given him last year and this year they would be a lot better off

Not sure that young Sullivan .. the halfback from the Dragons is a good smart organising halfback .. what i saw on the weekend was raw young cocky halfback how wanted to do everything himself .. run the ball, throw a dummy and go himself .. chip / kick the ball for himself .. wasnt much talking and communication with other team mates ..
Wait till he throws a dummy and goes straight into a big strong forward who rag dolls him around and smashed the bejeesus out of him .. dont think he'll be running the ball again after that .. he'll be just like Brooks .. gun shy .. !!

If Brooks was a Toyota Camry he would be standard edition but with Hunt you get the leather interior
To have both Brooks and Hunt in the halfs would be a nightmare but Hunt is better but not by much
