He has to keep the form up but for the past few weeks Toa has playing to the level of good strike centres...really been reminding me of staggs recently. He can just make it happen Hopefully he keeps it up and locks down that right centre spot

2 things stand out
Our right side stronger nearly 3 times the meters of our left
Our left side has had defensive issues most of the year and again Souths first 2 tries against our left ,their 3rd was basically a barge over by latrell in last few minutes when fatigue meant no forward marking that pay
I'm happy to give Junior T a bit of time .Souths first try after junior lost ball and to me looked like a rake ?
However Left Center is an issue I don't think Tommy can handle it nor could AJ before
Can Naden handle it ? Don't know he spends so little time on field as he's either injured or suspended . We need 2 big recruits a classy left center and another playmaker
 
We now have the blueprint for the rest of the year to at least avoid the spoon
The problem is we have no attack
Funny thing is the whole pre season was based on sheens famous free flowing attack
If we can learn how to score we will win a few more games
It's good to see our turn style defence is improving & we're slowly starting to look like the other 16 teams 🤣
Btw when's the last time a team scored 0 in a match ?

Our right side has more metres than our left because Souths almost exclusively kicked to our right side. You cannot conclude the right side is stronger based on those statistics. I believe Souths kicked to our right side to avoid Junior Tupou on our left, who has been absolute dynamite on kick returns in recent weeks.

The biggest problem imo is that our kicks from the middle of field to attack zone don’t create enough contest. Our midfield bombs aren’t high enough so the chasers can’t get there, and I agree we don’t use the grubbers enough. When we’ve done it we’ve created problems.

Not every try needs to be one for the highlights reel. We just need higher % plays that cause errors.
 
we’re one decent half and a left centre away from becoming a very classy outfit. all the tools are there, we just need a little polish and x factor. it will come. very promising signs yesterday and the scoreline flattered our opposition.

That could have changed the complexion of the game Brooks absolutely butchered that Farah had to get up and walk away in the coaches box. Yea that was a certain 6 points - i can only assume Bula didn't call but he obviously said something afterwards because Brooks looks straight back at him.
 
Dominating field position from the forwards
and outside backs as well as defending like
demons will take it's toll on the team if our
halves don't convert our opportunities to points.
That synergy won't last if we don't put up points,
that's just the way it is... cows will be hard 2 beat

I noticed that too he possibly doesnt have a voice yet, Brooks had the blinkers on though no suggestions he was looking for options. Im sure that will be massively highlighted in the video session not that it helps us now, had it of been 8-6 at that stage would have been a better reflection of the game. Certainly wasnt a 20 nil affair but our attack has been the issue all year.

Maybe the coaching combo is working? Long term experience with more recent playing experience. Sheens also gave Furner a pat on the back for the way Tigers defended.

Naden can't handle it. No idea why he was resigned. Just a liability anyway you look at it.

We will be big outsiders

Can't score a try easily. If API doesn't sought something in the 20 then the others players can't.
