Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Wests Tigers are considering making a play for Newcastle veteran Tyson Frizell who is on the cusp of an Origin recall.
The Tigers will have about $500,000 salary cap freed up next year as soon as they allow Joe Ofahengaue to join the Eels immediately. The decision to grant Ofahengaue a release from the remaining two-and-a-half years of his contract has now opened the door for the club to potentially make a move for Frizell who is off-contract at the end of the season.

Bizarre.
Last thing we need is more"experienced"forwards..particularly if theyre busted
Second last thing we need is more big slow backs..weve just got rid of one.Dont need Best
We need a number 7 to steer the team around..thats our priority..and a quality 6

Question for my learned colleagues……

”When was the last top line 1/2 (with plenty of nrl years left) that has actually left their club? Cronk maybe but he was just about done. Possibly Burton but jury is out, hynes wasn’t really a half at storm)…..

I can’t think of any, I guess you know where I’m going with this after we “chased” Moses, Munster etc etc and got ”snubbed”….. they rarely leave so …

Um Hunt, Reynolds, Johnson, Hastings, Fogarty?

SPOTTED

Wests Tigers chairman Lee Hagipantelis, CEO Justin Pascoe, new recruitment boss Scott Fulton and player agent Mario Tartak dining at Totti’s Rozelle last week, no doubt discussing potential recruits for next year and beyond. Interesting in that Tim Sheens and demoted head of recruitment Warren McDonnell were not invited.
