If Brooks' career could be summed up in one play it's making a half break and getting tackled on the 4th, leaving the opposition in no doubt who is going to kick. His game awareness is awful.

You liking the fact he gets picked over the Tigers winning is very telling. Whatever floats your boat. I have never called Brooks amazing even when he has a good game.

I have also multiple times called for him to be moved on just like AD. I actually wanted Brooks to be moved onto the Knights last season. Both shouldn’t be our future.

Brooks won’t get us to the finals & have said that for years.

But he wasn’t the reason we lost tonight far from it.

I see this getting tackled on the 4th criticism regularly and I don't get it? What is his alternative? Hand it off to a player in worse position who will make no ground, get dominated in a tackle and then Brooks kick from further out under pressure after a slow play the ball. How is this better?
Brooks' half break is the right option. It just shows the short comings of the team as a whole that no one is capable of doing something on the last off the back of his run.

It went up 200k. He was our best player in a team that was horrible. No half could play well in that team tonight but Brooks did. What does that tell you?

You Brooks haters have lost the plot. I'm convinced you don't even bother watching what he actually does, and I'm definitely convinced you don't watch other NRL halves for comparison under similar circumstances. You lot just wait for a loss so you can pounce. Its pathetic.

How did he play well?
He ran the ball for 100+m but it was mostly ineffectual…no line breaks, no line break assists, no tries, no try assists. He did put a few good long kicks in but some dreadful last tackle options as well.
His defence was terrible. He attempted 13 tackles, making 6….46.15% efficiency. The next worst was Talau and we all know how poorly he played.
Most importantly, he failed to step up and lead the side when Api went off. Our game plan, as flimsy as it was, went to shit and everyone just started playing for themselves.

Brooks is a 200 gamer. It was his job to standup when his captain went off and his halves partner, who has played 35 games in 5 years, was struggling.
He failed to do so.

The discount isn’t restricted to one club players.
You can use it on any player with 10 years as a top 30 player.

It’s also apparent he must be the hardest person to run off aswell because for years many players slow at the line to wait for the ball or stop and jink to not run into him on the inside play

No coach has ever seemed to be able to fix it though i am sure all of them have tried
