I'd rather Averillo than AlamotiIf we can snag a couple of young promising halves from another team, I would also be targeting Alamoti (Bulldogs) and Kaeo Weekes to try and build a good young squad

I think something has to give at the Warriors and we need to monitor that situation closely. Johnson, Martin, Harris-Tavita, Metcalf and Volkman gunning for two spots. Metcalf and Volkman would be ideal and both are originally from Sydney, so there is a chance we can snag one if we apply pressure. Metcalf a free agent come November 1, he's the one I'd be trying for.Just throwing up some ideas for discussion.. looking at realistic options for 24-25, halves and a outside back seem to be a priority.. leaving out trindal and Metcalf as it's unlikely their clubs wouldn't let them go (I know we wouldn't).. 7-TeMairi Martin.. Smart, good short kicking game, calming influence, ex tiger.. 6- Conner Tracy.. played in the halves all his juniors, very quick, knows the concept of a 3 on 2 🙄.. 4/5 Lachlan Miller.. Olympic 7's background, elusive, fast, great backup for Bula.. then hopefully some of our Matts and SG Ball juniors ( large,Conti, Matai etc) might've matured enough to be first graders..
1 Bula
2 Toupo
3 Toa
4 Naden/ Miller
5 Miller/ Naden
6 Tracy
7 TMM
What are some of your "realistic" options for 24-25 ?
P.S. wouldn't mind Frizell for a year or two either..
this is what I've thought from the outset. Isaac Moses 101. only difference is this time that our dear Chairman has decided to rear his head. It’s a poker match between Issac Moses and the WT…which is why Moses got Brooks to call Bunji, so the club panics….The club will not budge on its offer to Brooks…
He’s got Magpie blood in him.Heard that we may be interested in Jack Cogger. Nothing definite but I think there may be some chat starting from us to him. His brother worked where I do up until only recently and is still close with a lot of people
Averillo was alright at 1 for the dogs.I'd rather Averillo than Alamoti
Would be an upgrade on Brooks, can't do any worse.Heard that we may be interested in Jack Cogger. Nothing definite but I think there may be some chat starting from us to him. His brother worked where I do up until only recently and is still close with a lot of people
I would take Averillo every day of the week. He is a very good playerAverillo was alright at 1 for the dogs.
He could be our 6 and then we can recruit a managing 7... from some where
Yeah, looks a goer.I would take Averillo every day of the week. He is a very good player
Cmon mate. He was a knights and dogs reject long before being a Panthers one.Signing Penrith rejects has worked out well lately 😂
He's Trevor's son. He’s got Magpie blood in him.
Trevor is a relative of some kind.
He played really well for Penrith the other night. And Staines was doing well for us I thought before his unfortunate injuryCmon mate. He was a knights and dogs reject long before being a Panthers one.
Just coincidentally all these offers are starting to appear now, seeing as he's been available to field offers from last November.Yes - Never thought for a minute Moses was ever going to allow Brooks to sign off on the first offer of a significantly reduced contract at this club, whether he stays or not. What will be interesting is the noise he tries to generate around interest from other clubs. I expect to hear leaks of offers and interest coming from everywhere - how much of that is true will remain to be seen largely on where he ends up.
Perfect sentiment, I'm hyper critical of Brooks the halfback but don't hate the person, I'm sure he's one in a million as a bloke. But in terms of performance in his position he hasn't worked out, he has the pack now and we are totally rudderless in the opp 20. It's time to move on. Or he takes a back seat as a depth signing on a hugely reduced contract.Totally Agree with the assessment.
People get emotional because he is a Great guy. (He's one my Absolute Favs)
We need a better Halfback / Quarterback. A decision maker. A Leader
Past performance IS A Future indicator.
Dont believe the Managers Propaganda and the Click bait

haha, I don't believe the clickbait articles and rumours ...Just coincidentally all these offers are starting to appear now, seeing as he's been available to field offers from last November.
Just checked. Yeah you are right, he has. I missed that news at the time, sorryI think? Atkinson just resigned by Cronulla that's why I thought Tracey might be looking for an opportunity.. haven't seen much of Sexton since he was dropped.. no nothing about Robertson but I'll keep an eye out.. hopefully better than Pellow.. Fulton needs to earn his money by sounds of it..
O'Sullivan was playing really well for the Dolphins too though prior to getting hurtKurt Falls and also Sullivan played well in the Panthers 7 too.
It’s like a board game called which rep player do I pass or kick it to.
Not rubbish, Brooks has been a handbrake for this side for donkey years. Can't control a game, can't communicate, Cogger has already shown more upsides than captain hand break. But Brooks did win a Dally M haha.Rubbish
