Yes, they would need to go higher than the Brooks offer, otherwise the insult to Brooks would not mean much. 600 x 3 sounds about right, he's possibly on close to that now?

I'd like us to sign Pearce as a lock. Get Junior Junior some lecky tape.....let's go! He can certainly defend okay and would have top level ball playing skills. Jackson Hastings x 10
We don’t need a 35 year old half who has never played lock to take on that position. It wouldn’t solve the problem Pearce supposedly is going to address, i.e. our dire halves issue.

He’s already said no to us, but that was before we ‘upgraded’ our recruitment guy.
The point was more around him playing lock. I doubt he’s ever going to play any position for us.

We need someone there to transition to the younger halves coming through in a few years time. There are only a few that fit the bill. Pearce, Hunt, Johnson.

Pages of fantasy recruitment and when its announced that Dogs have told Averillo he's free to look at other options .WT show no interest . I think he's in the top 6 backs for speed along with JAC ,Saab , etc

He had a good relationship with Newcastle, a club that could possibly get a couple of seasons out of him. Youre right, any half going to Chooks now is taking on a big job. Their attack is worse than Tigers' and look how the general public view our half as a result?

WTF, really. If that's true the bloke could a deadset cancer at any club who would take him. Plenty of blokes disagree with their coaches but be professional or at the very least an adult about it. Hopefully he's changed alot since then.

Spot on, maybe with Fulton we now have someone who isn't as neive as Hartigan or McDonnell were. Hence the player managers inability to pull one over him as easily. I take Brooks time limit in his contract decision as case in point. Fulton knows Moses has form in that department and wouldn't allow him to do it.
To be a quality Nrl top 8 side we need to have at least 20 players who you would consider quality Nrl 1st grade standard footballers .
The biggest disappointment to me this year is the lack of 1st grade talent in our Cup side . No one seems to be banging down the door rather we keep referring to some 18yr olds in Flegg who look to be possible future stars .
This is great for 2025 and beyond but if they are really good its a big chance they will be poached by the "big " clubs anyway .
The only recruitment activity I have heard about in last few months is when we have gone after ( unsuccessfully) some big fish Munster ,Moses, Pearce and Johnston . Why we aren't targeting those more likely like the Averillos and Pezets and Volkmans .I would like to see some activity because we are really lacking depth .We need to kick a couple of mid season goals

I remember reading that Sam Walker is on $375k at the Roosters currently. No other club would be able to sign him for that little.
