Actually Reynolds would smash it behind our pack, he would actually put our back rowers into holes and our backs would actually get clean early ball .....

My response was to a very specific assertion that he doesn't have the capacity to turn a match.

Which is verifiably false.

You could make the argument that’s the best starting pack in the NRL. Frizzell has another 2-3 good years left in him.

Now go get a 7 who can steer that around please and we’ll be talking top 8 next year I really believe it

I watched him in an u/17s game in Penrith juniors. He was by far the best forward on the field (his opposition St.Marys) where stacked with junior reps. He owned them all game, he then had a massive brain explosion and got sent off in the last 5 minutes. He offered the players and some of their dads out to the car park, not one person took him on. Moral of the story is he has always been super talented but always been a lose cannon. I was so impressed and then so disappointed all in the same game

yea, he would go well behind our pack.

Yet we lack that finishing "cross the line". Really only Nofo (with his faults) and Naden have that ability.
What we offered 1.4M for Moses, Would prefer Reynolds 100%.

yea/nah. Brisbane has a track record of success. Madge would not have brought Reynolds across or if he did it would be crazy overs. Min what we offered Moses 1.4M

Respectfully disagree. If we had Wayne and offered Reynolds the 3 years on around 1 mil he’d sign I reckon. He already has his premiership ring, leaving and being more a leader next to Wayne would’ve got it done.

Let’s not forget Brisbane back then weren’t Brisbane right now…. they were a train wreck.

He was very vocal about wanting to remain in Sydney as he’s very tight with his family and kids who were brought up in Sydney. He was set to go Cronulla then they choose Hynes instead.

It’s the reason he’s been equally vocal about how much he loves Brisbane and how he was wrong and would look at staying long term.

Broncos always had some of the best young backs and forwards in the NRL coming through!!
